Wondered if anyone could help at all. We are off to WDW in a few short weeks and had our plans sorted. I have just discovered however that the filming of the christmas parade is on a day we were going to MK (7/12)
What time do they start the filming and is it possible to get in and past all the filming part and get to the back of MK without getting involved in the process or would you suggest skiping MK completely that day?
Any advice would be great
Thanks

1. What time do they start the filming and

2. is it possible to get in and past all the filming part and get to the back of MK without getting involved in the process

3. or would you suggest skiping MK completely that day?

1. EARLY (before the park opens to guests.)

2. Board the Train and ride to Frontierland or Fantasyland.
Or. walk THROUGH the Emporium shops on the west side of Main St. (they are all connected inside.)
Or, walk behind the scenes (if they have the backstage pathway open. -They likely will.)

3. Well, that would solve it entirely, but consider that they will be recording on Fri. and Sat. (and POSSIBLY, Sun.) that weekend.

Thanks Robo

I think the train to Fantasyland sounds like a plan. Hopefully it will be a little less busy with people wanting to get on TV in main street.

Also another quick question. As we are from the UK is there anyway we can watch the parade when it is aired in the US or anywhere to see it online after.

Thanks again to this great site for all the info

You can always watch it on Youtube. :happytv:

Sometimes at least PARTS are posted on YouTube, but I think ABC network frowns on the posting of whole programs.

There is an ABC network "On Demand" site.
Don't know if the WDW parade would show up there, and/or
if it is streamable to UK, etc.
