Does anyone have any cool ideas for Christmas ornaments? The wedding/Mickey Ears ornaments thread was getting a bit hijacked so I wanted to start a new one.
A couple years ago I made animal print ornaments from a project sheet at Michaels using Liquid Rainbow paints. This was right after our stay at AKL - I really like these!
That year DD made some of the ones you pour the paint into & swirl around. http://www.michaels.com/online/images/99173_lg.jpg (photo)

You just need to be careful to use the brand of paint they recommend. DD's youth group didn't & they never dried!
Then last year I found some over on TwoPeas that filled clear glass balls with coiled paper - like quilling only with wide paper & not tightly coiled. Some of these are just beautiful! Just do a search for "ornaments" on TwoPeas. Once I finish my swap stuff for this year I'm going to start on my Christmas stuff.
Any other ideas??
