Hello!

Since the first Christmas schedule is online I am now in full planning mode! My question is this...

When the park opens at 9am is it still only EMH rides open then or do the other rides (IASW for example) open at 9am? I know it sounds daft but I've never been there when the park opens before 10am or closes after 7 - this trip will be a whole new experience for me! :yay:

Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom!

:thanks:

Jen

ooooh i thought there were emh from 8-9 and then the park opened fully at 9 :confused3,

having never made it to emh i didn't really mind losing an hour of it.

ill be watching this so to see what the knowledged ones say :worship:

Its been a few (pre baby!) years since we actually managed to get our bums out of bed and in to the park for EMH but I'm sure that when 9am is the official park opening time you get the little opeing parade at 9 and then everything is open from then on. I tell you what this planning is taking over my brain! I go round and round thinking of good combinations of ways to do things! We only have 2 full days plus a half day in the park this time so I want to spend the time wisley - do you guys do one park per day or do you mix it up and go to both over the course of a day :confused3

Thanks for that!

When DH & I went it was September and the park was really quiet so we mixed the parks up but this time I'm doing Disneyland Park on our half day and full day and then saving Studios for the Sunday. We get picked up at 6.30 so it's almost a full day. I don't want to waste time walking between the parks!

i've always mixed it up - on our first couple of trips we'd usually spend our first (half day) in the Studios.

We quite often dot back and forth between the 2 parks 3 or 4 times a day to be honest.

However, our next trip includes 2 full weekend days, and I think on the Saturday we'll do EMH, then be at the Studios for opening, then if it gets mad busy we'll go to the Village for a while/lunch, then DLH at 4pm, then back to the main park for an evening of rides in the dark :). Sunday might be similar, with the emphasis that we may not get many rides done at all in the main part of the day.

Yeah thats what I was thinking - well actualy I was thinking one full day at the MK but leave early to go to Annettes and then a cocktail at SL in front of the fire before bed and then the second at the Studios (but maybe EMH at MK or GMFL breakfast if we can get it) and then back over the the MK for our eveing meal at Walts (7:30om :cloud9: can't wait!) then watch the parades afterwards depending on how DS is doing staying up so late. That should still give us a full 10am - 6pm day in the studios. The last half day we will play be ear depending on what everyone wants to do again. We're like you my DS is only one so big thrill rides are out really! Oh my word I can't wait! :cool1:

We have never done EMH but plan to this time.... I can't wait
