Christmas List (Who´s Going)

By coincidence we are arriving on the same flight as UrsulasShadow, and we have an 8:10 res. at CG so I sure hope we get in on time or we will not make it! I can just see us have Christmas dinner at POP food court!

Congratulations UnderTheMistletoe! A Wedding at Disney during the holidays....does it get any more romantic than that???

Just decided today to leave Christmas night and stay til December 30th. Very last minute but the kids are thrilled.

We live locally, we'll be there the 23, 24, 25, (possibly the 28th), 31 and 1.....

I am pretty much packed, but I still want to get a few outfits for myself. We usually only go in the summer so I'm used to just having to pack shorts & t-shirts, now I have to be prepared for just about anything. I checked the weather for Christmas week & it appears to be around 70 during the day & in the 40's by night.

Have a great time everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to EVERYONE!!!!

Is everyone here that is going Christmas week going to wear a lime green Mickey?

I made a little Lime Green Mickey Christmas Tree for the Window, I cant wait to put it up!!!!

We are back..... and we had a good time...except maybe for the rude people in the park(s) The ASM was a great place to stay with the grandchildren!!!!!!

we are back too today...we left on xmas day...it was a xmas present we found out about the day before...one of the best xmas presents ever :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We're back, too, and what a wonderful stay! Magic everywhere! Great CMs, great mousekeeping, great meals, great transportation! Good grief, I was expecting trouble and delays at every turn, and all I got was pixie dust!

It was great meeting you UrsulasShadow! The California Grill was the perfect place to have Christmas dinner & ended up being our best meal of the trip. We had a good time & really enjoyed the decorations everywhere, the MK Christmas parade, the special presentation of Illuminations, the CM's were friendlier than ever, we got some adorable towel presents in our room, but the crowds really bothered me. I was expecting it to be crowded but there were times we couldn't even walk. The food court at POP was jam-packed. I think I'm too claustrophobic to deal with crowds of that proportion. I'm glad we went, but Christmas week was just too much for us.

It was great to meet you too, allshookup! Made the plane ride all the more pleasant! My DD was going crazy by the end of the trip, though..."was that another DISer you were talking to??? You're all psycho!".

I think I just timed everything right. I never stayed in any park past noon, except World Showcase, and I had all my dinners planned, and shows, etc. I thank these boards and the Unofficial Guide/website for giving me great advice at every turn, and world's greatest CMs everywhere I went. I'd do it again in a heartbeat (without my mother next time, though  ).

LOL! That is funny! We are psycho!!! My DSIL asked my last night why we were going back in June, "haven't you seen everything yet?" Some people just don't get it. :confused3

Anyway, I think you're right. We did have all our AR's planned thank goodness, but we should've stayed out of the parks in the afternoon. The line for Pirates of the Caribbean went halfway down the plaza at one point but when we went back later that evening, there was hardly a wait. Timing is everything I guess. Plus we toured Saratoga Springs early in the week & though POP is a lot of fun, Saratoga was just sooooo much more quiet. You made the right choice staying there for Christmas week!

Even with the incredible expense  , I think I did, too. You are going to absolutely LOVE it!
