Hi Helpful Disboarders...

I just received an early Christmas present from my mom. I unwrapped a box that had a plush Mickey teddy bear in it, with a note saying "I WANT TO GIVE YOU THE WORLD! PLAN & ENJOY. LOVE MOM" :cloud9: I am 27 and started screaming like I was 8 years old. We have been to Disneyland many times, but never the WDW. She wants to take me on an all adult girls vacation next year, and I am to plan it. SOOO Of course I am not wasting any time! :goodvibes

I know in Disneyland they have a quiet lull from mass crowds in November, yet the Christmas parades have started, and it's all decorated beautifully in Christmas spirit. Are there a few weeks in November/early December that are considered a good non busy time to go?

Thanks in Advance.

I'm going too, so it will be planned right. I am in the travel industry and LOVE planning new things. I just need a start by knowing to know when a good slower time to go is.

We've gone numerous times the week right after Thanksgiving. It's always been a great time to go. All of the holiday decorations are up and the holiday activities are going on as well. It was really cold this year, but we still LOVED every minute being there!!

What an amazing present -- have the best time!! Merry Christmas :goodvibes

Congratulations on your wonderful gift. We have gone after Thanksgiving, I think it was around Dec. 5th and it was wonderful. A little on the cold side but we still swam in the pools and enjoyed the water craft, the days were warm enough. Be sure to get advanced reservations for the Candlelight Ceremony at EPCOT, there is always a celebrity that does the readings and it is truly a night you will remember. Also, if they still have it, the Usborne Family Lights at Disney Studios is unreal. Have fun.

We went this past Dec the 10-15 and it was a PERFECT time! Other than the record cold temps, which we weren't quite prepared for... but it was WONDERFUL! The crowds weren't too bad and if we hadn't had a 2.5 year old we really could have gotten a TON done! Have a wonderful trip!! Its so much fun to have a Christmas in Disney!!!!

First two weeks in December is the BEST time to go. All the Christmas activities are going on but the crowds are not! If you have the opportunity, take advantage of MVMCP (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) do so. It costs extra (about $40 each) but it is a magical time if you like all the Christmas hoopla! I hope your present is a memorable one!
