Ok I should let everyone I LOVE illuminations, I have the CD of it in my car and listen to it all the time... I think its the greatest thing since sliced bread. :)

However, I have heard they do a special version of Illuminations during the christmas season... is that right? What do they change? Or do they just piggy back it to the end of it? What's it like?

Also if they do have a special illuminations do you know when they start showing it, we will be there from Nov 23-Nov 28th and don't want to get my hopes up!

Its exactly the same show, but they just play the Singing Dogs Christmas Album instead of the usual London Philharmonic music track.

Its a lot of fun to hear the "barking" of "Jingle Bells" when the Inferno Barge is blazing.

At the point where the Video Globe starts across the lagoon, the chihuahuas yelp out, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth."

The timing is perfect right at the end when the cluster of skyrockets explodes on the last note of "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer".

Pure Disney MAGIC!

(I may have this confused with my Uncle Roscoe's Christmas Eve party).

OK, that's enough out of you Robo! :rotfl:

There is just a little something special at the end. I'll tell you that if you are into the holiday spirit and are emotional like me, you will need tissues! I believe they started showing it right around Thanksgiving last year, so you have a really good chance of catching it this year.

They do an additional 5 mins. or so with Let there be Peace on Earth. The project sayings on Spaceship Earth.

Yeah, the more I think about it, it WAS Uncle Roscoe's party.

Funny thing is, Unc LOOKS just like the Norseman head in Maelstrom... ("Yooou are not da furss to pass ziz vay.") I get them confused all the time.

Being quite possibly the most dense person on earth it took me a few seconds to realize that first post was a joke! Very funny though! :rotfl2:

Interesting to hear, and yes I am Mrs. Overly Emotional at Christmastime, so I might be right there with you! I think we are planning either on doing Candlelight Processional on Sunday or Monday night after Thanksgiving probably the 6:45 and then seeing Illuminations. Come on CP Packages!
