I know i'm being a procrastinator, :confused3 but i still need christmas gift ideas for my future mother-in-law. We are going to Disney in January and she is super excited about going. I was thinking the perfect thing to get her would be something cool at Disney that i can have pre-arranged. Any ideas? I really need help here! :guilty:

thanks!

Hmmmm, top of my head time. :-) I guess a lot owuld depend on you rbudget and what the two of you like to do.......

Sign up for a tour
Arrange a meal at a special restaurant
Maybe a Girl's Day Out shopping time at DTD
Find a Mom-related pin to give her at an appropriate moment
tickets to LaNouba
a massage or facial at one of the spas
tickets to one of the fireworks boat trips
make up matching Tshirts to wear

A few years ago, I took my sister (in her mid-40s) to WDW for the first week of February, and for Christmas I ordered her one of the pins with her name engraved on it and booked us into a tour (I made up a little certificate about the tour). She liked it a lot and wore the pin every day we were there - and enjoyed having CM's greet her by name.

We had a friend with us last year and gave him an early Christmas gift by booking him on the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour. He loved it and said it was a wonderful gift. He has a lot of "things" already and doesn't need to collect anything else, so the tour was great for him. He got to see things he wouldn't otherwise see and got away from our 2 kids for a little while. :teeth: He really didn't mind being with the kids, but it was a nice break for him to be off on the tour for a while without them. ::MinnieMo

What is the "Key's to the Kingdom" tour?

It is a tour in the Magic Kingdom that takes you behind the scenes and gives you information on several attractions. You also get to go under MK into the Utilidors where all their costume, makeup, computer, etc. departments are.

The description in my Birnbaum's book reads as follows: A 4 1/2 hour tour that offers an on-site orientation to the history and workings of Walt Disney World's original theme park, the Magic Kingdom. Guests visit an attraction (waiting in the regular attraction line) and take a peek at the Production Center and the Utilidors (the legendary tunnels underneath the park).

Our friend and my DH both loved this tour. I've never gone on it myself (I got the kids that morning), but they highly recommend it. ::MinnieMo
