For people who have seen both the Celebrate ( regular) fireworks and the new Christmas fireworks, how do they compare?

I was just wondering because we were there on Friday and saw the Christmas fireworks but we haven't seen the Celebrate ones.

I'm not sure which you are referring to at the "regular" / "Celebrate" ones.

There are "Magical," "Remember, Dreams Come True," and "Believe...In Holiday Magic"

In my personal opinion from best to least enjoyed (but still a good fireworks show):

1. Remember, Dreams Come True
2. Believe...In Holiday Magic
3. Magical

I'm sure if you ask 20 people, you will get at least 10 different answers, however.

I thought there were just regular fireworks and then holiday ones (Halloween, Christmas). Sorry, I didn't look into it much since we were only there during the Christmas fireworks.

The only other fireworks show I have seen at DL was during the 50th anniversary and it was leaps and bounds better than the Christmas fireworks they have now.

The fireworks that they had during the 50th was Remember, Dreams Come True. This past summer they had Magical. I enjoyed those, but for a lot of people who love Remember, they didn't measure up. You have to admit it, it will have to be something really spectacular to beat those fireworks.

Every holiday season they have the Believe...In Holiday Magic.

I didn't get to see the Xmas show while at the park yesterday, did hear the audio and saw part of it from the Rivers of America area. I did get to see it last December, the audio is the same so I'm thinking the show probably hasn't changed since Dec. 08?

Anyway, I didn't like it then. If you don't see Disney firework shows often then yes it's nice and impressive, though I thought it was boring I do still appreciate that it's way better then any other theme park or generic special event show. The show seems to be a generic X-Mas show, not really Disney related. The Remember show is great because it celebrates the history of the Disneyland park. Magical does not measure up though the flying Dumbo is very nice. And the Halloween show was a nice breath of fresh air considering a lot of people were let down by Magical, Halloween showed they've still got tricks and magic up their sleeve.

Remember is still running. It played the first weekend of November, and returns again in January.

Have you heard this anywhere officially? I would love to know as everything I have heard was the weekend in November was it for RDCT, sadly.

OT - for anyone wondering, no fireworks tonight due to wind. :( We loved the snow, though. Fun!

Yes, I can absolutely confirm it.

Remember will run throughout late winter and all of spring.

These are my favorite fireworks. I had heard November was it for them. Where did you hear they will be absolutely be running through Spring?

1. RDCT being shown from January to May was mentioned in MP's weekly update, November 3, 2009: (link)
"... MousePlanet reader cstephens posted to our MousePad discussion board that a Disneyland pyrotechnics cast member told her Disneyland will present four different shows in 2010: "Remember...Dreams Come True" from January through May, followed by "Magical" during the return of the Summer Nightastic promotion June through September. "Halloween Screams" will return for the HalloweenTime promotion, with "Believe...In Holiday Magic" closing out the holiday season."

2. mrfantasmic (a CM) posted the following at MC: (link)
"Remember will be used in Winter-Spring seasons...

These are times of lower attendence where Remember's operational impact is more managable.

Remember: Winter-Spring... Misc off season.
Magical: Summer
Halloween Screams: Halloweentime
Believe... Holiday"

Wow I'm so happy that RDCT will be making another appearance at the park. Unfortunately it will be when we're not there. :(
For the OP, RDCT was a lot longer than the Xmas fireworks too, so a lot more time to and opportunity to pull out all the stops and blow us away.

Unfortunately RDCT is a lot more likely to be canceled because of atmospheric conditions...I have waited and NOT seen it more times than I have seen it. :(
The other shows don't seem to have that happen very often.
