Christmas Eve

This will be our third Christmas at WDW and each of the visits have found us dining at EPCOT as part of the Candlelight Processional. We really don't care who the Narrator happens to be, although we have enjoyed Gary Sinise in the past, but the readings and the music are what we've come to enjoy most. Capped off by Illuminations, it is a wonderful way to spend the holiday evening for us.

This will be our third XMAS living in Orlando, and after the first year of going to EPCOT on XMAS Eve day, I have vowed to stay away - however, this is also the first year that my DD and I will be alone for XMAS Eve - so we may venture to EPCOT, we are going on the Illuminations Cruise on 12/22!

That's what I love so much about living so close... I love making visits on a WHIM - but it's still a MAGICAL visit each and every time!

We are spending the day at MK. Then we have an ADR at California Grill where we will watch wishes from and then come back to the MK to watch spectromagic. We are having a non park day on Christmas day so we can stay up late on Christmas eve.

The only thing we have planned for Christmas Eve is breakfast at Chef Mickey's - and I can't wait !!

Xmas eve is the anniversary of df & I 1st date. We try to replicate that date...

Pub at 13.00, Cinema then Hard Rock Cafe for tea then more pub time!

Wow Jodie, I started going out with my hubby on Christmas Eve too in 1986, so it'll be 19 years this year :lovestruc I doubt that there is anywhere as special to celebrate any occasion than WDW, I think we're all in for a great time

We are having a DTD day, eating at Boma, and doing Cirque du Soleil...we just want to try to make it special without dealing with the hordes in the parks. We are driving home on Christmas Day, so that way we'll have Christmas at Disney and at home!

We won't be there over Christmas but all these ideas sound great. I'll have to keep them in mind for a future trip maybe! I've always loved Christmas Eve better than Christmas Day for some reason. To all those celebrating the holiday in WDW have a very magical merry time! :wizard: Can't wait to hear some of the trip reports!

This will be our first Christmas at WDW and we're planning to spend the day at Epcot...we've got a lunch ADR at San Angel and are going to CP for the second time...doing the dinner package...6:45 show with Jim Caviezel and then eating at Teppenyaki at 8ish. The rest of the time I think we'll be wandering around taking in the storytellers and such. I'm looking forward to heading out of the park with the lights on and the music from the CP still lingering in my mind...kind of like we do at home...midnight services then home.

I hope to do the early CP (without the package, so we'll see - with Jim Cav (sp)..., it may not be an option in stand by), then dinner at Ohana at 8:15. We may venture back to MK for the last parade....or make our way back to POP. We have Christmas Dinner reservations at Trails End (visiting family in the Tampa area during the day - no parks for us that day, unless it's late...after dinner).

I got there the Dec 26th one year, it was a great time, I wanna do it again in 06

We are spending it at Epcot with dinner at Le Cellier and CP at 815. I am so excited about this. I still havent decided what we will do between breakfast and dinner on Christmas Day.

We'll also be over in Epcot. We have a CP Package for the 6:45 show w/ Jim C and then 8:00 dinner at Le Cellier. Later on, we plan to head over to the Shrine for Midnight Mass. :goodvibes

We have about the same plan as you. Our package is for the 6:45 show and dinner at Le Cellier at 8:30!! This will be our first time at WDW. Can't wait to see everything and spend Chrsitmas there. :cheer2: Have a great time!! :flower:
PS If you see a family of 10, with a toddler and 12 year included that's us. Hopefully, we will all be behaving! :rolleyes1

We have an 8am ADR at Crystal Palace. The men are then going to play golf, and the rest of us are going to hang out at MK for as long as we can stand it.

If I see a family of 10 with a toddler and a 12 year old, and everyone is behaving, I'll be awed and amazed! : :earboy2:

We'll be a family of 3, with a fairly well behaved 11 y/o. :flower: We're looking forward to spending Christmas at one of our favorite places this year!

That's the day we arrive, so we're meeting the rest of our group of 10 for dinner at the Cape May Cafe!
