christmas elves anyone?

Tomorrow is game night. I will need to sneak in and "borrow" some of Little Bit's animals and set up the monopoly game. This is when they will get the little boxes with the candy inside.

Or should I go ahead and do something naughtier, like the underwear decorating?

kate just rolls her eyes... she did make me laugh though on the way to dance last night...

kate: "so mom, my friends think you are really weird"
me: "really why?"
kate: "well I told them about the crazy elves"
me: "really?"
kate: "yeah and they said, 'hmm we just have chocolate advent calendars...why don't I have a chocolate advent calendar?"
me: "um because elves are cooler..."
kate: "really? I'm thinking a chocolate advent calender would work for me"

at which point I was laughing pretty hard... maybe the elves will leave her one tonight with a note that they are going on strike...
I could make little strike signs and everything...

OMG! Kate, she's got the bah humbugs! Yes, I do believe a strike is in order!!
My older kids are laughing (13 and 16) so they pretty much know... but some of the stuff they aren't expecting and will laugh hysterically about..

However, DS9, is bad about trying to figure every little thing out and not allowing the older kids to find "issues"... He wrote a letter to the academy last night and someone wrote back! He thinks it's funny that Bentley "rights" some of his letters backwards so DS9 was giving him a handwriting lesson last night!

DH got the crud scared out of him this morning because Keebler, a rouge elf, got in his car and set it last night (thank you DD!)

OH, today the reindeer were all different place, DS9 counted them 3 times and finally found the missing reindeer.

DD has a co-pilot for her first drive to school. I have to pick up Sn*wflake from the parking lot around 10:30am.

so I will be working on strike signs this afternoon. anyone have anything whitty? I think the reindeer will get involved too. wonder if she'll cross the picket line to get to the advent calendar?

I think the elves at the disney store are from prep and landing which is on abc family soon. I know I set my tivo for it so maybe dec 2 or 3rd?

I know I am backtracking a bit, but I am so excited about Prep and Landing too! I am so happy they are finally premiering a Disney project on television. It actually isn't going to air until 12/8 @ 8:30/7:30c on ABC! That is such a wonderful treat! Is anyone else planning on watching "Pixar Short Films" which will also be on ABC Family tonight? 20 Pixar Shorts for a full 2 hours! I can't wait.

so bummed that this is happening on a school day... world record attempt for largest gathering of elves...

I thought Prep and Landing was on last night? Not that I watched tv, the President was on so we popped in a movie.

Ugh, I need my elves!!! The immigration officer is checking her list twice to see if they are on any watch lists. LOL

DS13 needs to get out of his choir concert timely!
I sent a note to his choir teacher because she loves elves!

Funny thing is, DS is being the Elf in a song again this year.. Last year he was the Elf in the song for "Santa's Got a Brand New Bag"... OMG! I'm so glad I had the camcorder... it was PRICELESS

Ok, we are awaiting DS9 to return from a birthday party... but Keebler, Cars*n, Sn*wflake and Bentley have been at it again... They got caught on the ceiling fan!
2 are hanging from the blades, Sn*wflake is hanging upside down from the lights, and one of the boys is hanging in the pull strings!

DS9 had fed the reindeer on his bed and they are all around the pillow which has the food on it... OMG!

Tonight, the elves will be tp'ing the dining room... one roll of paper will be strewn from the dining room, thru the living room and into DS9's room... the rouge elf, Keebler will be the busted one! The rest of the crew will be wrap in tp in the dining room....

The reindeer have a checker game going on between two of them... the remaining ones will be stacked in a pyramid as cheerleaders!!!
