You could go to AK and get the Boardwalk or Beach Club bus.,
That’s also an option. I’d suggest bus to the BW - shorter walk to CBS.
Not too difficult to get from AKL to WL for Storybook Dining. Just bus to MK and boat to WL. The boat is part of the fun!
Some of the road lanes are dedicated but others not. Not sure about Christmas Day and Eve travel conditions because we normally travel via monorail or walk on those days.
It’s just annoying to have to go through security twice when not even going to the park! especially since they will likely have a stroller and then the boat to fort wilderness could be the small one where you have to again fold up the stroller. So in all the round trip could cause the stroller to have to be opened and closed four times and going through security twice at magic kingdom on Christmas so it will be busy. Then the trip back to the hotel could be packed at fort wilderness
As long as you don’t go to Disney springs. It’s not that bad traffic wise and even on the buses once you in
Not sure what you mean but we only visit DS on NYE. The traffic is off the wall but it still beats being in the parks. We like an enjoyable meal, fireworks, music and general merriment without too many people - which we could always find at home and explains why we are not there, lol.
I mean the traffic at Disney springs is horrible. The parking garages and everyone leaving at once is difficult plus it’s mostly locals who drive there on NYE. It gets even more packed I’m sure than the parks. Only MK and Epcot get really packed and in certain areas. The same number of people are also staying at the hotels on Disney as usual
I forgot to add. Even though it is a tad annoying I would still recommend storybook because of the ages. I see that Narcoosees is winning but getting there from the AKL is just as annoying except if you take the monorail you won’t have to fold up stroller but still you might not have to fold it up going to WL either if you get right boat.
