Christmas decorations...

When are the Christmas lights and decorations put up in WDW and the resorts? Is it after Thanksgiving? I'd really like to go right before Thanksgiving and I wonder if any will be up yet.

They start going up right after Thanksgiving

They may have a few up. I went 11/30-12/7 of 2001 and if you stood still long enough, a CM was likely to put a red bow on you, too! Last year we vacationed 11/2-11/10 and they were starting to put some stuff up. We went over to the Beach Club one day and the Christmas tree was going up. It looked really lovely!

The decorations are incredible! Enjoy your trip!

Wow, Deb's site is awesome! I should have known she'd have Christmas decoration info!!
Now, I'm thinking of going Dec. 5-10 for my birthday! Just have to convince DH that it's OK to go to Disney twice in one year! I think he thinks other people will think we are NUTS! LOL
