Christmas decorations

When do they have all the Christmas Decorations up? Do the crowds increase immediately, or is there a lull before the holiday crowds?

The decorations go up right after Halloween and the first MVMCP starts the second Friday usually of Nov. The Christmas tree at MK does not go up until after the filming of the Christmas parade which is the first weekend in Dec. So all decorations are up before Thanksgiving, except that one. I think Osborne Lights are up around 11/18 or so. The first two weeks of Dec are less busy park wise but very busy for DVC. The crowd dies down the week before Christmas and then the weekend before Christmas it starts to increase through NYE.

So week 2 and 3 of Dec are good weeks to go typically and all decorations will be up.
