Christmas decorations in the parks

Hello: I have been to disney parks many years ago. The trees were gigantic and the christmas balls were the size of basketballs, candles were 3 feet tall. It was amazing.. Are the decorations in the parks over the top amazing or just okay in recent years. Trying to decide a trip in mid november or october, depending on the decorations.

We were there the winter before Covid and it was all done nicely. They haven’t really decorated as much since then, but I did read that they were doing the lights on the castle again this year.
