Christmas Decor at Resorts and Parks

Can someone please let me know the timeframe for holiday decorations at WDW? Originally we were going early December, but due to unforeseen family function, we need to change our dates. We really wanted to be able to enjoy the Christmas decorations, but aren't sure how long they stay up. My friend has never seen the Christmas extravaganza and that's really her main reason for wanting to go. Thanks.

Decor will go up basically overnight in the parks right after the Halloween Party's last gasp.

Resorts happen over the course of November. There are not set dates and resorts are put up via a lottery system of who gets what when each year. Everything will be up by Thanksgiving, and get torn down by the marathon or slightly after. Marathon 2021 is January 6-10, so I'd actually expect most of the decor to be gone shortly after the New Year and before marathon.
