We are planning on MK all day on Christmas Day (yes, I'm perfectly aware that we're insane:lmao:). I booked dining before the parade schedule was released.

Our current schedule is:

Cinderella's Royal Table - 9:35 a.m.
Liberty Tree Tavern - 4:00 p.m.
Wishes Dessert Party - 8:00 p.m.

This was scheduled because the normal afternoon parade is always at 3pm. Today I looked, and the Christmas Parades are scheduled at 3:30 p.m. for that whole week.

Is the parade on Christmas Day the same parade as we'll see on other days that week, or will they do something different for Christmas? If it's different, is it worth cancelling LTT to see the parade? Is there any chance of seeing the parade and making our ADR?

There are no options for dinner elsewhere in MK that will work with the parade schedule, and I don't really relish the idea of standing in line for ages for QS when we have a perfectly good ADR that's goofed up because of the parade schedule. Eeek!

Advice, please!

During the two week Christmas holiday, the parade runs twice during the day: 12:00 and 3:30. The early parade may fit your scheduling.

Yes, it's worth it. The toy soldiers alone are worth it!

The parade the week of Christmas is always the Christmas parade so it will be the only one while you are there unless you are coming in quite a bit before Christmas - this is my favorite parade! Be prepared to camp - we held our spot for the noon parade 5 years ago for 3 hours. We grabbed a spot where we could see the castle show as well to break up the time but by the parade there was no walking room in the hub at all.
