There were at least two pirates. The little green indicator light was off on at least two names & the others were still on. The way they were posting pictures they certainly weren't new to the game. Talk about a threadkiller.

Speaking of airfares, I got ours in January, about $160 RT, and now $299 one way! Crazy!

Just got home from work, and so much housework to do. My biggest pain is that we have a glass shower doors instead of shower curtains for the 2 bathrooms, and they are SO hard to keep clean. Gunk in the tracks, dried soapy film on the glass...I think I've had it with with the doors and am going to have my guys take the glass doors off. They look so good when they're spotless, but they haven't been spotless in a long time. It's too bad, because the glass doors really made the bathrooms look elegant. Oh well, I'd rather get a cheap liner, a nice curtain, and toss the liner everytime it gets yucky. These are the times I wish I had a housecleaner, just to come in once a week, but I couldn't justify the cost (they are expensive around here!) when we have 4 able-bodied people living here to help keep things clean. Ok, I'm done with my kvetching!

I've started seriously packing for the cruise, since I've been going through the kid's clothes getting them ready for school, and I've packed some of the summer clothes in the suitcases. Jesse is growing so fast, I just hope he still fits the stuff by December.
I've been working on my door signs, so much fun! I wanted to ask on the cruise board how many signs Disers have seen on their druises. Like, 10%, 50%? I don't think it would be any higher than 50%, doyou?

I hope Mel goes out to play tennis when he gets home in a little while. I'm not in the mood to cook right now, so if he goes to play, I'll have a few hours to lounge around before feeding my family like a good mama should! My bad!

I like my shower doors-it keeps the slobs in my house from getting water all over the floor

I have a tension rod in front of the glass and I hang a fabric shower curtain on that.

2 reasons-

Brittany is so modest she hangs towels to cover the glass anyway

and

it hides the glass when I don't feel like cleaning it


I told Brittany we may be driving down with ya Ma

She's ok with it, she likes the shorter trip by flying but knows if the prices don't come back down she has no choice.

I get a night alone for dinner tonight

John just called and told me he's going to a football game, Brittany and Adrian have dinner out on Thursdays and Pop will probably go to his friend's house.

I had a really late lunch so eatings not even an issue.

This van pulls up to the house & wants to know if I want to buy chicken, steaks or seafood. I said no thanks. He asks Don't you ever eat chicken or steaks. I said I eat salad cause I need to lose weight. I then told him I don't cook because it's against my religion. Rose was there & she started laughing she said she knows that Tigg & I are related & to tell her she said that.

I told her the price of tickets that grim quoted & told her we could all drive down. She said that's a good idea.

That is so funny - a couple weeks ago, a lady knocked on my door and asked me 'Do you guys like steak?'

I said we were vegetarians. She stood there kinda stunned and said 'really?'

'Yup.'
'K... thanks...'

My kitty Nala wouldn't drink out of anything but the bath tub. I was at her beck and call. She woulde meow up a storm whenever she wanted a drink. I finally bought her a kitty drinking fountain that has constant running water, which she likes just as much.

Hi all:

Polly's ok. She (ok now she is an "it") is resting in her hutch.

Wilson is ok too. No broken bones and his doctor thought it looked really good, maybe he won't lose his nail. He took the x-rays to school today and told his class that he was mad at his sister and lost his temper and slammed the door on his finger. So I guess he learned a hard lesson about that.

I'm wiped out tonight, so I'm calling it good to go (to bed that is)
