Grim, wowee! What great photographs. The GF looked beautiful. And the redhead...I can't wait to see Dede in that costume! The Nightmare Before Christmas shots were awesome, too. And the kids are a couple of dolls. They're lucky to have their Uncle Grim have so much fun with them. I loved the picture of you on the Teacups...you looked like you were ready to hurl! Dede, you have the sweetest dimples.
Now Grim, get out of Dede's underpants!

Karen, I didn't know you were making T shirts for our whole group! I've been reading your posts about T shirts, but I thought you were just doing them for your family. Thanks for doing this for all of us! Me XL (I'm really a size Xsmall, but I like my shirts baggy ), Chad L, Jesse M. How much do I owe you? Just think of the great group photo we're going to get!

Nan, the semi-formal dress is nice, it reminds me of the 1930's, and the formal is beautiful. Good job! I love the teal color, and the style is so elegant. And it comes with a little jacket, perfect. You're going to look lovely.

I just put a deposit down on one. Won't be available until 'Spring of 2006'. Whenever that really is, is anyone's guess. I'm not a car person (I prefer 2 wheels to 4), but gosh darnit I can't wait to drive it!

It's a coincidence that you posted the car photo, because I've been going between the Kia and Honda sites all day trying to see if I can afford to buy the cheapest car they have! Nan - I'm pretty sure I'm getting 'Silver Graphite', which is a darker silver than the one in the pic.

Ashling - It's a Saturn, so it's really not that expensive - about $25K fully loaded. It's twin is a Pontiac Solstice, which starts at $19K (if you can find one).

My current plate is FIGMENT. I'll probably keep that one. Maybe DVC BCV, but know one would even know it was personalized.


I was driving home this evening, and wondering what all the traffic was for by the Glendale Arena - the Eagles are playing tonight

Nan - RE: karts - I blame my over-protective parents for my not being a motorcycle road-racing world champion. Let the boy race, or you will suffer the same fate!

Utterly exhausted here. I come back to work this week to be told today that I'm being pulled out of class tomorrow, Wednesday, and Friday for curriculum writing. Because of my schedule ( i see each of my classes 4 out of every 6 days) I didn't see my 7th graders at all last week, and will only see them once this week! They're gonna be a mess when I get them back full time. I stayed at work til 7 tonight throwing together some meaningful lessons for the majority of the week. Tech classes are kind of hard to plan for when a substitute's going to be there.

I have a feeling that I'm going to be at a dead run from now until our Christmas cruise, but that's ok. I'll just enjoy the cruise that much more!

Thanks for complimenting my dimples, Aisling (I think). I can appreciate them now, but growing up, my sis used to call me crater face. Then she'd tell me they were so big that she could sit in them. Then she told me that the were a sign of deformity, so I was deformed! Silly, really, but I hated them all my young life. I like them now... they're just part of me

Point taken on the kart, as you can tell we do let them try the stuff, but not sure if the danger is worth the guilt or the guilt is worth the danger...or whatever.

I had parents that let me follow my dreams, so I totally understand that side of it. My take on that was I was the last of 4 daughters and the only one that really ever tried to go out on a limb. I was the teenage (15) girl flying airplanes. It's strange how conservative I have turned considering my teenage and college years. Not that I was totally wild by todays standards, but I did pretty much what I wanted and experienced life.

Tigg: Where are you, I'm waiting to hear your dress thoughts.

I'll take a pic of Molly's with it tomorrow and then you all can tell me what you think of them together.

Hi! Sorry I was MIA yesterday...

I was pretty busy at work, you know talking about my vaca, uploading my pictures Came home at 6, Mom was over for dinner ( Hi Mom ) and then Britt was on the computer til 10:30. I was beat so after dishes I hit the hay.

John made burgers, rosemary potatoes, stringbeans and sweet potatos.

Liz likes sweet potatoes but doesn't get them in Austria. Most there do not have dogs for pets either.

Nan, I like both dresses-you'll be gorgeous! Yes, I'd like to see Molly's please.

Similar to your thinking, I like my kids to choose their path. I merely show them what the options are. Busy kids prevent bored kids. I've alsways insisted they have at least one "activity" per season. For many years, Brittany has chosen girl scouts. Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and boy scouts for example. AJ never played fottball because of weight limits. My son would have had to lose weight to play at his age level. He's always been a "big boy" or "solid." I would never force my child to diet for a sport. Soccer didn't care how much my kids weighed. They both played soccer. Stefanie still plays soccer and softball and both girls are in their last year of girl scouts.

Grim: I like the car I've been looking...what I want is four or front wheel drive. Brittany gets her license November 4th and with NJ Insurance it's cheaper for her to be covered on her own car. -

Karen: Nice Logo! I hate to do this, but is cruising misspelled, you seem to be missing an i.

I know the cruise is getting really close, because sometimes when I'm thinking about it, I get butterflies in my stomach! I'm going to transfer all my Disney Rewards points to my shipboard account, and do the same with the points on Mel's card. He has a cute $30 to donate, and I have a mama mia $400! I guess you can see who knows how to charge in this family! I also emptied out our cruise jug and deposited it. So we have tips covered, at least.

Tig and Karen, I'm looking forward to our meet next month. We have to talk details, but we have time for that.

Karen, I hate to be a pain, but do you think you could measure the chest widths of the M, L, and XL T-shirts? I just want to make sure I look decent with the correct size, not like a bum in a too big shirt or a hoochie in a too tight one.
