I like the snow, and would def enjoy the ride...but I'd take dolphins over dogsleds just about any day

We live VERY close to the Poconos and skiing and stuff and in all my years here, I have never been...I just don't do snow~

I might go this year, if our temps ever go under 50

Moreso cause I can rent skis and snowboards for free now~

speaking of good weather, Paul and I are off to San Diego this afternoon to see my friend take command of a reserve unit in the Navy. Just a quick overnight down and back, but should be fun. We are staying on the island (coronado) near the base at what looks to be a cool hotel, Lowes (?). I'll report back of course....

Paul and Wil are off working on his pinewood derby car Molly and I are playing ninetendo...well I have to pack now so ciao....

Nightmares!

I had a nightmare last night... or was that this morning...aaanyway-

I dreamt I was on a cruise and MISSED EVERYTHING!


I went up top to see the sun set, it was already down. I tried to go to dinner, and it was over. I went to see a show, and the audience was letting out. I went to find my room, and all my cabinmates had packed to go home. I went to check out the ship, but couldn't cause it was time to leave

That's crazy.
I have had some weird cruise dreams before too.
The one that I can remember is that We went to board the ship but it wasn't the disney ship, they called it the disney cruise line but it just didn't look like it.
Then once we went to board and take our luggage out i realized i forgot all my luggage at home in Indiana.
Yikes!
I freaked and my parents made me go on the cruise without a change of clothes.
And then I didn't do anythign by the time i got on it seemed like it was over!
I was so freaaked when i woke up.

speaking of slugs......I have a story for you....

I got Molly some Uggs for Xmas, purple of course....and then I figured I should have some too...mine are sage green. Love 'em. Act like a freak all thru Xmas holiday about Molly not getting hers dirty, end result they are sitting in her closet...(not being worn for fear of mom getting mad about the dirt)

Went to the airport Saturday and like a fool that I am had to be honest and there in line opened our suitcases got out the gel stuff and placed them in the plastic bag. Went to the inspection counter (not to self...only person to do this, everyone else just walks by it) and showed the guy our bags. He opens one and tells me this bottle of chicken's hair gel it too big. He places the bag on the counter, knocking the GLASS bottle of cologne on the floor, it BREAKS and SPILLS all over my UGGS. Now they are #1 stained #2 stink like the chicken.

Moral of the story...don't yell at your daughter to keep her clothes/shoes clean or the stinky stain fairy will get ya.....

The Change of Command for my friend was great. Fun being on the base and very cool to see the officers all in their dress blues.

Nice to be home.... of course we talkef the whole time about how nice it was to travel with out the kids and then got around to our kids are pretty easy to travel with and then that turned into "should we go to Europe again this summer" and that turned into yes and pay for it by robbing a bank....okay...you know the cycle, we are the Skjerven's and we travel way too much....

I think I snooped and saw the parties, not sure...too long ago to remember.

We just found our compromise for the Feb Dland trip/Wilson's bday/go kart racing dilemma...we are going to Dland and try to find a place in LA to practice race one day. Travel's Anonymous...here we come. (do they have a spa there?)

I really should take a picture of her in her new Tink jacket!

I shopped the Disney outlet online and got Penny a Mickey Polo, a Mickey Christmas sweater and a satin baby blue Tink jacket with a faux fur collar

Funny thing is, after the haircut, she doesn't fit the polo or sweater, they are too big The jacket fits! With the hair, Cate (my DS's GF) couldn't get the jacket closed...

I'll get pics tomorrow of her in her jacket, you guys'll love it

Chicken and I liked the idea of going thru the Canal, so we just might do this one....it's supposed to be released tomorrow, ressies on the 31st. Not sure how this plays into NYE 2008, but....ya never know.

p.s. I booked Wilson's bday trip...we'll be at Dland (Grand CA) 2/18-2/21/07, then home for a great big weekend of birthday partying....
