I truly am not ready. I have no food in my refrigerator, and I do Christmas Eve for 15 people. I haven't done any shopping for the kids yet, and my house needs a good cleaning, because my mom is coming to stay with us for the holiday.

I'm sitting here on my bed doing nothing, when I should at least be grocery shopping. I really put a lot of necessary things off because of the challenge. If we get tossed, I'm going to jump off the roof after all that work. I just wish they could give us the results before Christmas so that I can move on with my life!

I would love to have Christmas in January. Everything sale priced, and maybe some snow. But I'm trying to keep the true meaning of Christmas first, like making sure we go to Mass on Christmas. But it's hard to even think about religion with so many things going on. I know it sounds terrible, and I do pray everyday, but the vision I have of my family sitting around stress-free with everything done, talking about the birth of Christ...well, it doesn't look like it's going to happen by Sunday night!

Christmas to me is all about the family,
IMHO presents are completely secondary...

this is why I am taking the week after Christmas off, to be with mine.

John hasn't gotten alot of attention from me since I starting working in the store a year ago. I went away for the holiday without him last Christmas-with Mom or not he's still upset I wasn't here.

I know from reading your other posts that your job is time-consuming, and that can be stressful. I'm glad he's going to be happy this Christmas having you with him.
You and John seem very close. Mel and I usd to be like that, but we got so used to doing our own thing (his tennis, my...I don't even know what), that he doesn't even seem to mind if we go away for Christmas. Last year, it didn't faze him in the least that we were going to be apart for Christmas, and it was only when we got back that he expressed that he missed us. I know, probably TMI, but even though our marriage isn't "in trouble", I sometimes envy the closeness of other married couples I know. He's a good, decent man, but not very emotional.

Anyway, I wish you a relaxing, loving time with your family this coming Christmas week, and after!

I know Mel Loves you dearly...he's just being the man he is and seems more comfortable not showing it. He's lucky to have you and is probably comfortable to have you by his sideif not physically but in spirit and would be totally distraught if he didn't have you.

Nightmares!

I had a nightmare last night... or was that this morning...aaanyway-

I dreamt I was on a cruise and MISSED EVERYTHING!


I went up top to see the sun set, it was already down. I tried to go to dinner, and it was over. I went to see a show, and the audience was letting out. I went to find my room, and all my cabinmates had packed to go home. I went to check out the ship, but couldn't cause it was time to leave

hello from jackson hole....dog sledding on xmas was nothing like swimming with the dolphins.....i sooooooo missed you (okay I missed the warmth of the weather and water) but you too!!!!

can't wait until '08....WE ARE SOOOOOO GOING TO BE THERE. I wish the dates would post so the obsessive people that I call my friends and I can PLAN our lives.....

it's cold here, can ya tell.

Good Evening:

We've made it home....15 hour long drive.....straight thru.

We're soon to celebrate the east coast New Year's with our neighbors and my mom then call it a night.

Hope all is well with everyone. I'll try to get some pictures posted in the next few days.

I told my son's girlfriend last night about our cruising the end of 2008...

I noticed her surfing on my computer checking out cruises, I told her I had every intention of inviting her to go with us when we cruise the western with all of you...

That made her VERY happy!

I also told her we'd book as soon as the dates come out cause my "friends" are already watching the calendar, waiting.
