:cheer2: My Grandson the mechanic. :cheer2:
I will be more than happy to get my tools together for AJ.

Friday afternoon should be warm enough for me to go thru them. Then Sunday after I get done work you guys can come get them. Or we can wait if it snows like it says it will this weekend.

I just got a new printer/scanner. Let's see if I can do this.

Thanks, Jill! I was up late last night playing with my new scanner. I don't have a digital camera, so I have to do pics the old fashioned way!

My Grandson the mechanic.

Congratulations and good luck to AJ! I would LOVE to have a mechanic in my family; it would save me tons of money LOL!

:teacher: Anybody can be a mechanic. I was in my 30's when I went to school to be a mechanic. I did it for a living for a time with cars. Then I became fulltime National Guard & did it for 6 years with them on track vehicles before going into a position where I set up the training for a unit. Now I'm a prison guard. I'm proud to give AJ my tools.

You too could learn to fix your car. You've already shown you are very talented.

As of now we are Cat 6,,, normal Verandah...

I was told that because the ship is so full that they will not asign rooms,, they will only guarantee your Category..

But,,, we are pumped and ready to go..

Maybe you are going to be one of the lucky ones & get an upgrade. On my last cruise we went from a 7 to a 5. Boy was I excited when they told me we had that I think I blew the agents ear out with my exitement.

Many people on the main DCL thread say that they dress casual on the first night. Our first night is Christmas Eve. How is everyone dressing?

Personally I'd rather dress up on Xmas day than Xmas Eve.

Me Too!

I'm saving the nice outfit for Christmas Dinner! ;)
I'll be in my tigger jersey, if the temp is on the cool side or in my bathingsuit, if it's warm! :cool1:

~HFC1969~Welcome Aboard!

Aisling: The photos turned out great! I really like putting faces to names. We're gonna have such a great time together. :cool1: :smooth: :sunny:

:cloud9: ~only 6 more days~ :cloud9:

Jill, you are amazing!
You skate competitively, you ride motorcycles, you're a mechanic, you tended bar, you were in the Service, you're a prison guard, and I hear you make a mean kamakazi (sp)! "Dull" sure isn't in YOUR vocabulary!!! :cool1:

But,,, we are pumped and ready to go..

HFC1969, that calls for the dancing banana!!

3x, I was thinking about the same thing. It would be hard for me NOT to be dressed up for Christmas Eve, since that's when we have our main Christmas celebration. I think I'm going to wear a shimmery green blouse with white capris. The green top is a tad dressy, to make me feel Christmasy, but not overdoing it on a casual night. I'll probably ask my men to wear dress shirts (no ties) with their khakis, instead of casual Polos.

LOL!

Mom's good at a lotta things, ;) but she needs to stop messing with her sig! :rotfl:

~I fixed whatever you did to your ticker~

Please tell me the next time you need something fixed.... :badpc:
is there something you want added?
:wizard:

I think Disney does casual on the first night because if your luggage is late arriving at your stateroom and you're main dining you may feel uncomfortable so the 1st and last night tend to be a bit more casual.
If the nights stay the same as now then Christmas day will be our formal night so we'll be able to look glitzy and Christmassy all at once. Having said that no one would mind if you dressed up every night so you go on and look and glam as you like for christmas eve!
