The lettering didn't come out as clear as it is in the original. Doing this was so much fun, I'm going to make a couple more!

It's starting to snow here, mostly ice coming down. I can't wait until spring, because my heating bill has been so outrageously high this winter. They jacked up the rates mercilessly, from an average bill of $200 a month to $400 a month.

Heh, it's 80 degrees right now.

$400? Ouch. My heat bill (includes water heater) hit a high of around $50 this winter.

Of course, I won't be laughing when it's 120 in July....

It looks great!

Good Job!

-TBJ-we'll work on the dining issue as needed, eh?

No problemo Mama!

~DH is waiting outside for me, I'll check back with you all again tomorrow~

Have a great night all & Keep Safe & Keep Warm...

I was able to copy that to "My Pictures" file & print it. The only thing I thing I would want to add would be smily pictures of each of the family under their name.. :worship: :moped:

We use natural gas for heating, and electric for air conditioning. OUr electric bill is never as high as our gas, so thank goodness we can have a cool house all summer long. And Grim, at least your 120 is dry heat...our 85 is usually sticky humid, but not nearly as bad as Florida! Enjoy your lovely weather, since we here in the east won't be seeing it for a couple of months.

That dancing guy cracks me up! :dancer:

Jill, yes, that's my door sign! But now I want to fiddle around with it, maybe make another one, because I think I just tapped into my creative energies!! LOL :rotfl: Did you do door signs on your last cruise??

By the way, I'm going to call Costco TA right now about requesting PLA. I'll let you know what they say! Wish me luck! :wizard:

UPDATE: I just called Costco Travel, requested PLA, and she put me on hold as she called DCL. When she came back on, she said she had DCL note the request on my ressie, but that there were no guarantees. I told her I understand, and thanked her. I have a feeling Disney is going to give me what I want!!

We had pictures on our door. One of the guys on the cruise made several different types of magnets. One was the green Mickey head with our names, room #, dates etc. There were several others but some one took them off the door.

The people that had big pictures on the door managed to keep them there thru the cruise.

Jill

PS I wish the warm weather would come & stay already

LOL! :rotfl: I got yelled at this morning  cause I keep putting the snow shovel away! :rotfl:
John likes to keep it by the back door
:umbrella: :confused3

I like to keep my shovel in the basement & never use it again

Off to the VA Friday morning for my surgery on my varicose
viens, not looking forward to it but need to get it done. Just one more good
reason that there will be NO speedos for me!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
 :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

Franco, we'll be thinking of you and wishing you well. You're going to feel so much better when it's all over. Let us know how it goes. And don't worry about the speedos...you're legs will probably look better than mine do after your operation!

Jill, I may be wrong, but I have a feeling you don't like snow/cold weather :rotfl:

Hey, I just remembered...Tig is in WDW right now!! Woo hoo!

Aisling
when I was a child, a million years ago, I loved the cold weather. sledding, snow angels going thru two snow suits. Even 10-15 years ago, I rode my motorcycle in the winter. Now, I hibernate. I'm even believing I'm coming down with SAD. I just don't get depressed.
That's why in 5 years I'm moving to Floida.

I have a thought when we put our request in for PLA maybe we could get a table near you guys. It would be really cool iif our dis group could all have the same rotation.

Jill, on my ressie confirmation from Costco, there's a place where I cuold have requested tablemates. I left it open, because at the time, I didn't know any of our crew. I'm going to call Costco and ask how we can do this. I'll post asap to let you know what I was told.

And about you moving to Florida, I have a feeling Tiggie will be right behind you!

Aisling
That would be really cool. I think Tig would like it also. :cool1:

I know that when I move Tig will come visit. She is very devoted to her family. I think they will stay in Jersey for a while yet.

Franco, Can't wait to see those super duper new legs. I'm sure you will be showing them off.

Jill :moped: :jumping1: :cat: :bored:

WOW! A whole day w/ no posts! We're slackin'!
Just popping in to see what was going on. Crazy weekend around here--seems were on a birthday party roll these days; two this weekend. Poor Jack (DS,4) feels a bit left out...but the "grandma that never says no" is babysitting tonight (date for DH and I), and looks as though they may head to Chuckee Cheese (YUK!), so that will make his day!
Off to Jazzercise! (hoping to be pre-children lithe for the cruise...well, at least a few pounds lighter...DH just asked..."Lithe?" Thanks....)
Have a good day!
Kristin :wave2:

hi everyone another cruiser from the uk!
i have cruised once before last june and it was fantastic. here is the info on my family.
dd(56)
dm(53)
me(26)
ds(7)
ds(4)
cant wait to see what its like at christmas the boys loved it last time and although i thought the time on my own sounded like heaven i actually had to drag the kids away to do some activities with me.lol.As a single mum who is young i didnt think i would "fit in" last time but found myself with too much to do and not enough time and everyone on the boat was lovely. It is nice to think i could know a few others before i go this time and my mum and myself are not the only ones who plan the smallest details way ahead of time lol.Any info on special christmas activities from previous years would be good.thanx x  i also love the thought of doing the doc dance lol :cool1:

Welcome. :wave2:
Hope you don't mind me asking? What is everyones name?

I guess you have found out that age doesn't matter. The pixie dust makes us all yooooung. Peter Pan here we come!!!!!

Kristin
I've never been to Chuckie Cheese - is it really that bad..

I noticed there weren't any posts. I thought everyone went away for the weekend.

Happy BD to all.

I bought a individual trampoline for $23 & a pilates ball for $9.95 & I've really started to use them. Maybe because I put them in the same room as the big tv. They seem to work.

Jill :moped:

colkath, I'm happy to "meet" you! :flower: I hope you read through this whole thread, and you'll really get to know your fellow Christmas cruisers! Will you be at WDW before the cruise? We'll be staying overnight at the airport Hyatt the night before and taking the DCL bus to the port in the morning. Please tell us more about your family...as you can see, we're a friendly, chatty crew! :chat:

Kristin and Jill, I also have a pilates ball, and I love it. Anything like Jazzercise or Curves or a gym never works for me, because I go for a few times and then give it up. But having the pilates ball really gives me a great stretch, and a muscle work-out. And I have a treadmill that I haven't used in a while, but will be getting back to it. Kristin, I love it that you use the word "lithe" to describe yourself. It sounds so graceful.

I hope Franco is feeling well after his surgery yesterday. And I hope Tig is having a good time at WDW. And I hope Lynn and Mike & Amy and Grim and 3x check in again soon!
