This year's plan is to have Christmas Eve at home:
with my hubby, father in law, daughter, son & his gf, possibly my mom;) and me.
Christmas breakfast in pajamas at one house:
the same 20 that had thanksgiving together;)
and Christmas dinner at another house.
probably only 15 to 18 at that meal;)

...here's my wish to you, my new friends, a very happy new year!

In one year we will be together on ship just Cruisin.

Holey Moley 15" of snow!! Boy we are ready!!! Just made our ressies for SOG on the first day I could have the 27th. going right after our cruise and staying until Jan 4th! Lets get going!! :crazy: :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

Well, I made our ressies also. They said I had to reserve a minimum of 3 nights. Maybe they will change the rules later on "she said".. I don't care. If it means I have to stay extra days I will. What a way to bring in the New Year.
Whoopie.
Jill :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

PS Colleen
The ressies in July at SOG are from the 18th to the 23rd for check out

SOG stands for Shades Of Green. It is across from the Polynesian. It is on Disney property. It is where active duty, retired military & Department Of Defense personnel can stay for a reasonable rate. It has two pools, a sports bar, two golf courses, 2 restaurants & beautiful rooms. And, they just remodeled it. Oh, & WDW tickets are at a reduced rate.
Several of us from this cruise are retired military & are going to stay there when we get back.
Jill

Thanks for the information. I know where that resort is. I have been to WDW many times. My memory just failed me at that moment.

Thanks again.

:wave: Hi Christmas Cruisers!

You all must be very busy....no-one's been by for a couple of days now!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mom, I got the dates for July, thank you...
If it means I have to stay extra days I will.
Does this mean we would come home Tuesday or Wednesday?
Just curious...
:wave: Hi Colleen
I really havn't given it much thought. It is up for grabs at this point. The lady said the only way we could make a reservation for NYE was to put it down for 3 nights. She also said maybe they would change their minds closer to the date. I told her it didn't really matter - just so we had NYE. I sent the deposit today. If we decide to stay good - if not - at least that cruise will be the greatest & as family it's even better because we will have had time together no matter how long.
Love Ya
Mom :grouphug:
How long is everyone else staying after the cruise?
Aisling & Franco? How many days have you reserved?
Hi everyone,
I'm SO tired after all the Christmas festivities, and it's not over yet. I'm looking forward to getting a decent night's sleep so that I can jump back into my beloved Dis full force.
Franco, I'll be posting my possible itinerary, as soon as I can keep my eyes open long enough to do so LOL.
Colleen, I think we're staying for only 3 days after the cruise, because Jesse can't afford to miss school, so one day out should be ok. I have to make up my mind soon so that I can make my ressie. So we're planning to be in WDW Dec. 31, Jan.1, and leave late Jan. 2.
Happy New Year to my cruise pals. We're staying home that night, but Chad may be at Time's Square. Watch for him on TV! He has an offer to work at our parish's NYE party for $150, and if I were him, that's what I'd do!
Now for a nap! I have a Christmas party tonight! I hope I can stay awake!
Below is a quote from DCL. Your best bet is to check with your agent.
How pricing works:
All cruises are priced based on two adults in the stateroom. So, even if you are one adult traveling with a child, the price is the same as if there were two adults in the stateroom. After the two adult price, the third and fourth passenger in the stateroom are charged a lower rate. If the third and fourth passengers are under 13, the rate is anywhere from $229 - $429 for the 3 day cruise, from $329-$529 for the 4 day cruise and from $349 - $749 for the 7 day cruise (including land/sea vacations). The price varies based on season.
**NOTE** Teenagers will be Charged adult fares (13-17). Child rates apply to ages 3-12. This does not impact access to areas of the ship that are designated as "18 and over" (like the Spa, Adults only pool, and Palo). [/COLOR]
Happy New Year To Everyone
