Christmas crowds?

We`re heading down for a trip 12/17 - 12/22. We`ve been the week bwtween Christmas and New Years before, so we have seen those crowds. When will the crowds get to the 8,9,10 level? The weekend before Christmas, or will they steadily climb? Trying to work on a plan. Thanks!

My understanding is they will start building to Christmas levels the weekend before Christmas, so 20th. At least that's how they were in years past.

A close friend was there on the 18th last year with 3 kids under 4. She said it was very doable. Better than summer.

We'll have to get as much done as possible the 1st couple of days, then FP+ and relax the last couple of days. Love Christmas at Disney!
