Since I am a teacher the only times I have been to Disney were either during Easter or President's week. Next year we are planning a 4 day trip at Christmas since that is the only time I can go with my college son. Are Christmas crowds much worse than the other historically crowded times? We will be there the 27th to the 31th.

Sympathy and advice from a fellow teacher.....Having visited WDW during Christmas, Easter and President's week, I have found the least crowded time to be President's week. Many schools are in session around the country, and while crowds do exist, it is nothing like Christmas or Easter weeks. In my experience, Christmas was nutso and Easter was not much better. Christmas week is the most crowded week of the year! I read they closed the MK today at 9:45...

You can stilll enjoy the magic during Christmas week, as long as you can deal with the crowds. There are so many extra events going on that happen only at Christmas time at WDW. Just get up early, take advantage of EE and use fast passes.

Another thought, Is it possible to go in late summer before DS goes to school? well. In NY we do not go back to school until after Labor Day. We now visit WDW during the last week of August. Flights and accomodations ae cheap, since it is value season, and there are no crowds at all. :D
