Christmas castle lighting

I’m 359 days away from my trip so I feel like it’s more than appropriate to start planning now!

I travel on 29th October until 12th November and plan to do both a Halloween and a Christmas party while I’m there, but I really want to make sure I see the castle lit up all Christmassy!

Is this just something that’s done for Christmas parties or is it a nightly thing close to Christmas? And if so roughly when does it start happening?

Nightly. And available to all guests, party tickets or otherwise.

It, for sure, will begin happening nightly (including the "Frozen Lighting Ceremony") on the first night that they offer MVMCP.

But, it CAN begin happening nightly (with or without the "Frozen Lighting Ceremony") on any night after the last night of MNSSHP.

This year (2017) it has not happened yet.
It MIGHT start as early as tonight.
