We send out a lot of Christmas card, between DH's work around 50+, then family and friends another 30+. I am looking for something different. I have a lot of fun pictures that I took this year, so I was thinking about going that route... Not sure want I want yet... but I'll know it when I see it.

Suggestions on where to start... and of course I don't want to break the bank.

Thanks as always... pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Ii find postcards are cheaper to get printed with a photo on them than cards. You can write on the back. Put a nice family photo and Happy or Merry Christmas from the X family.

Just my idea. I do this for invites too. I usually select a photo from photopass.

Used Tiny Prints a couple years ago; got 30% off coupon + free shipping I think. Was able to put a lot of pictures on them. Turned out really nice. Used Vista Print for a graduation party this year and will look at their Christmas cards before making decision this year. Good luck!

We used to use Shutterfly or Tiny Prints but I saved soooo much money going with Costco when they were on sale. They have a $5 off 50 cards coupon until the end of November. I usually spend less than $25 on 75 cards.

I bought cards from the dollar store one year. My kids made pictures for the cover and we glued them over the top. The inside was still the same printed greeting. Everyone loved them :)

I've done Shutterfly, Costco, and Walgreens. I've been happy with them all. I prefer Shutterfly because I like their designs but only buy from them when I have a really good coupon. Also, I only send 25 cards or so every year.

One year for party invitations I had magnets printed at Vistaprint. This was ages ago but it wasn't too bad on price. The idea being that folks could have the party info on the fridge and later just cut that info off and be left with a photo magnet. The same concept could easily apply to Christmas cards. Maybe not what you're looking for with coworkers, but family members might really like it.

I'm thinking of trying something different this year. My DS(9) is always making iMovies. I was thinking of giving him so many pictures and captions and having him set it to holiday music. My only concern is some relatives who aren't so tech savvy.
