As you can see it's my first post - soooooo please go easy on me. :rotfl2:

I'm hoping to make ADR for Christmas Breakfast at Crystal Palace and Dinner at Cindy's. And as you can imagine I'm very worried. :confused3 I do have a back up plan for dinner if it doesn't work out. I'm thinking 1900 Park Fare. Would love to hear anyone's opinion regarding the choices I have made?

LoriDee, might we ask a few questions?

Where will you be staying? Onsite or Off-site?

Also, are you looking for a "character" diner? or just somewhere fun for dinner?

I am sure you'll do fine...there are PLENTY of us Disney nuts here on the DIS to offer you so many sugestions you can't possibly go hungry!

We will be staying on-site at POFQ and have purchased the dinning package. We are a family of four myself, my DH, our DS10 and DD20 months (at time of travel).

I have planned to eat at Chef Mickey's (Breakfast), LTT before MVMCP, and CP's. We chose Cindy's because it's at the Castle. My DD is not that interested in the princesses as much as she loves ::MickeyMo and ::MinnieMo .

I hope I've covered all your questions and thanks so much for the quick reply.

If it's ::MickeyMo and ::MinnieMo you're after, you won't find them at the places you've picked. Crystal Palace is Pooh and Friends. Cindy is princesses. Not sure if 1900 Park Faire has a usual crew, but last time I was there it was Pinocchio and Gepetto, Alice and the Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins.

Liberty Tree Tavern has Minnie (I believe) and would be a "traditional" Christmas meal, setting. If you can't get into Cindy's, you might try this one.

That said -- Christmas and Disney! My two favorite things. I'm soooo jealous.

Sounds like your planning to spend all of Christmas Day at MK, right? If so, your choices sound good with LTT as above poster recommended. I understand the decorations are beautiful at GF and with several very nice dining options, maybe you could head over there for a nice (non character) holiday meal.

I was planning my Xmas dinner at 1900 Park Fare.....I thought it might be calmer and less chaotic than Chef Mickey's.

Now I'm wondering if I should change breakfast to 1900 Park Fare and dinner to someplace like Citricos or Yachtsman Steakhouse. I figure I could have my three kids eat off the kids menu, since I hate to waste 2 credits each on a meal they will hate (and they'll like the kids menu at both)

Decisions, decisions....

When we were there in December we had breakfast Christmas Morning at Crystal Palace. We had a ball with the characters and the food was great. It was a nice beginning to a terrible Christmas because of the awful weather. I had no problem making a reservation either.

We've already made plans to eat at Chef ::MickeyMo and LTT to see ::MinnieMo . I was just thinking that Cindy's for dinner would be a nice place to eat with it being the castle. I'm just really nervous about the ADR's for Cindy's.

Thanks so much to all for your opinions. Some of the other places will make a great back up if we can't get into Cindy's.
