Christmas - Before or After

Hello To All!!!

If you had a choice, whcih of the following would you pick and why? (Assume that all details are the same except the dates):


Arrive in WDW late on the evening of December 23rd so as to be in the resort/parks from December 24 - 30

OR

Arrive in WDW late on the evening of December 26th so as to be in the resort/parks from December 27 - January 2


Is it better to BE there for Xmas or BE there after????

We are a family of 3 with a DS who will be 9 when we go (Xmas 2004).

Appreciate all opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!

2000 - Dixie Landings (Gone but not forgotten!)
2001 - Off Property (Never Again)
2002 - Wilderness Lodge (Our new home!)

As far as crowds go, I think it will be about the same each time.. very busy! Can you get a reservation for these dates? All the decorations in the parks and resorts will be up till Jan. 2 or so.

I think it is a decison of where and how your family wants to spend the holidays. Do you do a big Christmas day or would you rather be at Disney? What about New Years Eve? Would your DS enjoy staying up and celebrating the New Year at one of the parks like a "big kid"?
