Can any one tell me when the Christmas Day parade is scheduled for this year (time). We are considering going down there for Christmas and was wondering. Also what is the best time to arrive before the parade starts and where to be seated or standing.

Are you talking about the televised one? Or actually on Xmas Day?

I've never been on Xmas day, but the televised one I have not seen it released yet, but historically first weekend in December at WDW. They start in the morning on Friday and goes through the weekend.

Are you talking about when they start showing the party parade during the regular park days?

I'm not sure about last year, but in the past it has been shown twice a day starting the day after the last MVMCP.

The PP's answer is talking about the taping of the Christmas parade that is shown on TV, an entirely different thing. So it depends on what you are asking about.

The parade that you see on TV on Christmas Day doesn't air live; it tapes the first weekend in December.
