Christmas at the Contemporary

I am planning a surprise visit for my DD at Christmas time. Please describe the decorations (if any) at the Contemporary.

Also--any "girly" things of interest at this resort that we can do on our Mommy/Daughter getaway!

they have a saloon on the 3rd floor. so you can get your hair, nails fixed.

they had a big tree in the lobby, and lights around the resort, and I think a tree on each floor(?) not sure about that one.

My mom and I love to go through the shops in the Grand Concourse. She also adores the breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse - they bring out a cinnamon bun type thing in a metal vase called a Mickey Stickey. She also loves the Electric Water Pageant. You can see it from your balcony if you have bayview room. I don't know how girly you and your daughter are, but my dad and I love the arcade - air hockey junkies, and that is always a fun way to end the night. The best thing is really the quiet walk back from the Magic Kingdom after park closing.

There are decorations around. But, IMO, it doesn't compare with resorts like WL, GF and AKL. CR is really nice, but it doesn't scream " CHRISTMAS!!" like those resorts do.
