Today found us arriving at MGM via the boat from the BW. What a wonderful, peaceful ride! It also found us entering amongst a very large crowd. There were huge lines to get in-I have never seen it this crowded and it wasn't even at park opening!

We went on the GMR, and tried to FP both TOT and RNR but the returns were for after 5pm, when we would be at dinner, so we did not get them, much to the disappointment of my daughter. We went through the Magic of Disney Animation, and although it is so very different from the original, it was cute. The kids got to meet Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, which they thought was fantastic!! Lunch was at the ABC Commissary, where I used a Q&C meal voucher. Probably not the best place to use it, but I did anyway. I understand what all the hype is over them, and if I used them at the right place they would have saved me a lot, but I didn't. I don't think I'll get them for our next trip, but that's just my opinion. Anyway, lunch was good and I would eat here again.

We also saw the parade. I have not seen this parade in years, so it was another must do on my list. The kids really enjoyed it. There was a father and son in front of us, and when the parade started, the father let my kids sit up front so they had an unobstructed view, which I thought was so nice. I had wanted to go to Millionaire all day, and we never did so after the parade I suggested we go. We wondered over there with perfect timing as the audience was already sitting, so we got to walk right in. Very shortly after, the show started. I really enjoyed this, as this was another must do on my list! We really had a good time playing. My husband knew all the answers but was slow to hit the button because he did not want to get in the hot seat. Would he have made it? I don't know but he wasn't taking any chances! I can't wait to go back and see it again.

Dinner was at Mama Merose and it was okay. We had never eaten here before, and now that we tried it, we won't eat here again. The waitress was kind of rude and I don't think the food was that great. Been there, done that!

The next thing to do on the must do list was the Osbourne Lights. WOW!! Have never seen them before and I just loved them. My son wanted pictures of everything and my husband tried to oblige. It was so nice walking around looking at the lights with the "snow" falling. It was a bit cool this evening, so it really made me feel like I was back in the northeast, instead of here in Texas.

We decide to walk back to the BW instead of waiting for the boat. It was a very nice walk and we beat the boat back to the dock. We freshened up and headed out to the boardwalk. Tonight's entertainment on the village green was an ensemble of bell ringers playing Christmas carols. Very nice. We then watched the entertainment on the boardwalk and hit the bakery and candy store. The kids found themselves in the arcade yet again, and then we headed back to the room to wtach Illuminations. The music from Illuminations was exceptionally lound tonight as we could hear it from the balcony of our room.

We fell asleep dreaming of our first visit this trip to the MK.

Ah...Illuminations from your balcony. Now I've got to try the Boardwalk!
