Christmas at Disneyland

Ok, we've been doing WDW for the last 4 years, so while I do recall that DL had absolutely wonderful decorations for the holidays, I don't recall the other special things that DL probably does.

Is there a party like WDW's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? Where can I find details about it?

Does DL have a weekend where they tape the Christmas Day parade? We did this at WDW two years in a row and both times we got on TV for a brief moment....which of course thrills the kids! Any details on DL's parade taping?

What else special is there for the holidays? We'll be there the week of Thanksgiving through mid December.

I have never heard of them doing a party. They do have a holiday parade and it "snows". The decorations and food for the holidays are amazing.

The parade taping is in November. Last year it was the weekend before Veterans Day.
