Christmas and a BDAY at WDW I think he planned this in the womb!

Okay our trip is planned for 12/24-30 2009 can't wait
1st let me say that excited just isn't the word for this trip I can't even describe it its my first time planning a vacation and i've gone all out
heres the problem i've read nothing but bad about the Holiday season: impatience of CM's, rude guests, poor service, crowds... etc oh yeah and Holiday season=no discounts!! but it will be fun either way, even if it means living out of my car after we get back

I planned this trip centered around DS 5th bday which is 12/26 (the reason for the title!!) not Christmas but I figured it would be crazy to travel on his bday so it became an all out Holiday vacay, This is my boys first trip to WDW and my third time but the last time I went I was 7 and stayed off property -This is going to be a totally new experience!

Tyler (DS4 turning 5! the one who couldn't wait the week after the holidays! )

Preston (DS2 will be 3 when we go, special needs -has autism)


okay so far i've changed hotels three times Coronado to WL to Poly, and my mom has changed her mind on actually going ('its not until December' its WDW mom!!)
I want to know how to deal with the crowds, my sons autism at the parks, and the best things to do
i've laid out some good ideas so far (Pirate Cruise at GF on DS bday!) but could always use more LOTS MORE!!! Especially your reccomendations and strategies! I like to plan way in advance -if you couldn't already tell!!

I was trying to be smart today and decided to look at my plan minus my mother and then add her on for the last four days in a separate room.. well the price was about $2500 more if I did it that way. I am paying less for her not to be there two days then to just pay for her to only be there less days
Just goes to show that you can't outsmart Disney

I've also gotten some great tips from the Dis already including subscribing to TGM and its already a big help
and my ADR planned chart is once again changed lol who knows how many more times by December here's the amended one:

I decided to add an extra day (23rd) and cancel the club level garden at the Poly for a standard garden view, I figured an extra day is better than the service they're offering with concierge and it costs less to stay an extra day without club than to have club and lose a day yay!!.. Hopefully I won't regret it

I don't see myself sticking with this decision by December stay tuned!!!
