Well shoot... I started an update and somehow the post got cleared.

So zoe's surgery got started late. It took a while to get her anesthesia in place. 3 hours behind schedule....will put her done and back to her room by 11pm

It will make a long night for her, but hopefully she'll have enough pain management meds to allow her to rest comfortably through most of the night.

Ive had you on my mind today, Caleb, my youngest had a small surgery this morning as well and i was thinking of you and Zoe going through similar circumstances(though Zoe's was much more involved than my son's)

I will keep her and you in my prayers till we hear that all is clear and she is sleeping back inher room waiting for her breakfast in the morning.

She will have an epidural in place for the next few days..so she will not feel much of anything (thank god) course this means she will not be able to move for a while either... But, better than the pain.

Laurie, I had no idea... I hope your son is alright! I will say a prayer for him.

As for Zoe and breakfast... Well she is going to hate it, but she probably won't get to eat for at least a day.

Well, they got through the first part. On to the next... They discovered that the worst case scenario is going to be our option. I kinda knew it would be. Half way done!

Omg, I ,just realized they took Zoe back 6 hours ago and it will be another 4 or 5 till I see her.

Another update came through... The augmentation is taking longer than expected. Next update in 2 more hours... Maybe she will be out of surgery by then... But they are not sure that it won't be longer than that...
