Our Krispy Kreme closed too! The nearest one now is 2 hours away, but anytime we have to go there for school events we have to stop!

I came back over here to catch up and what do I see that distracts me? Krispe Kreme!! Evil Evil Evil!! Now all I can think about are those delicious glazed warm goodness. Ours is 45 min away. Wonder if I can convince the hubs to go get me some even though we're trying to lose weight.

Yesterday's pic did not really have a story behind it, so I apologize for none.

Today though, only has a bit of a story. It as on my 2/2009 trip with the girls. It was our last day. We were due to catch DME in the mid afternoon, so we figured we could spend a bit of time at AK, eat lunch and then head back to YC. It was so hard to leave AK that day. It had been cold, I mean REALLY cold all week. This was the first warm day. We also had a hard time eating our food. Not only were we super full since we had been on the dp (for the first time) but finishing lunch meant we had to head back. It was sad. Zoe is rarely unhappy though and even though we were soon to leave...she was happy to pose.

As for Zoe... she is doing well. Except she is a bit cranky. She is on prednisone and has a hard time sleeping.

Can I ask you a ? about prednisone? I'm on it bc of this weird allergic reaction/rash thing I have and after a month it has not gone away with other meds. Dr. put me on it and really low dose (40mg) x 4 times a day. I'm wide awake - feel like I'm on caffeine pills and my legs are in such pain; dr. says it is just side effects. Now the ? - Does this wear off as the meds are reduced? Does Zoe have this type of reaction to it?

Yup.. that is from the med. My dh can not take it at all cause it makes him so agitated. Zoe had her last dose last night and already seems to be feeling a little more calm. The first night for her was the worst. She could not fall asleep for ANYTHING.

Yup.. doughnuts. Yummy.. ones. We always call them air doughnuts case they are so light. They literally melt in your mouth. Super sweet though and gooey. I sometimes really prefer a more cakey doughnut...but this is definitely a taste all its own.

You and me both. I want to lose some weight yet after Karin's pics... I had a craving. So... I splurged. Now if I could just stop splurging on stuff maybe I could actually shed a few pounds.

So guess what I did today??? Even though my ticker says one day till....


I made some ADR's.

It was a surprise to me that I was able to do so. However, since we are checking in on 12/10... today is 180. I didn't get up early to start, I actually was just kinda playing around and found out it would work to do some. I started out by trying the online system. Tell me it isn't only me who has troubles??

Anyway, so I used my pop confirmation number to check the availability for the first ADR I wanted to make. I got in!!! What I wanted was Ohana at 7:45pm. So I tried and I saw one for 7:10, 7:50 and 7:55. "well" I thought, "the 7:50 isn't far off. I will go with 7:50" Clicked through. Got to confirmation and... error. Tried again. Same process... error. Tried several times only to get the same error at the same point until only the 7:55 was available. The same thing kept happening. I decided I better call in case it wasn't my reservation but rather their system. Sure enough, it was only their system. However, in the time it took to get through all that, both the 7:50 and 7:55 were taken. I am happy though that I did get an ADR.

So, what did I get???

Yay for making your ADRs! That's such an exciting part of the planning process, isn't it? Sounds like you've got some great places on your list. I wonder why some of the places had no availability already? Are they that popular? Apparently so. You did a great job, Ann.

Thanks, Tina. The cm said she thought that it had to do with the CP package. Since those are not offered yet... but those are suppose to be restaurants for that... they probably just are not taking any ADR's for them right now. I hope that is what it is.

Glad you were able to get most of your ADR's and at times at or near your ideal. Cannot believe how difficult it is to get into Le Cellier or Coral Reef! Do you think they have most of the dinner slots blocked out for the CP Dinner Package?
