Christmas all year long!

Just got a call from Children's Hospital. This is really happening.... Please keep my daughter in your prayers. She will be in the OR for an estimated 9 hours on June 8th. I won't be able to see her until she is out of recovery which could be another hour or so. In total proabably 10+ hours. It will be a VERY long day for us all. I am prepared for and aware of all that is to come...but... hearing that time frame makes me kinda feel sick to my stomach.

Lots of prayers for you today, tomorrow, and everyday after through to Zoe's recovery. From one mom to another - I would feel the same way - so focus on the postives of the outcome of the surgery. I recall your post from her doctor's appt and all of the good things this surgery will bring to Zoe. And have the peace and comfort in knowing you aren't alone - we are all praying for you and your family, including DH's safe travels to Zach's graduation.

So Joyce did this at the start of her TR that she is currently working on. I thought it was a fun idea. So stealing it!

Thought we could make a game of it. The game? Where in WDW. I will use pictures from past trips. To make this more interesting... How about we tally points? Then at the end (maybe in the fall some time) I can send something fun to the winner? Immediate family would not be eligible to play (sorry Kira) Points would be awarded in three categories with the first person to answer correct in each category claiming that point. In theory, first person to answer could get all three or only one.
1. What area in WDW (ie MK, AK, DTD a resort etc.)
2. Specifically where the setting is (ie. in front of the castle, the line of x ride etc.)
3. Who/what is in the picture (ie. the subject of the photo)

So if I shared a picture of the castle (no people in the picture)the answer might look like this:

1. MK
2. Central Park Hub or gateway to Fantasyland
3. Cinderella's Castle.

So for the first one (and before I edited this post I did put who the subject is, but like you all don't know) .....

Any guesses?

I don't know you personally but reading your PTR you seem like a very strong person! My family will keep you in our prayers from now until she's back home safely with her family! I will also pray for your husband as he journeys to Zach's graduation and hopefully remembers to video tape it for you!

Thank you so much. Those are very kind words. I had not even thought about pictures and video of Zach's ceremony. I will have to remind Steve to do that for me!

Yes, this is taken at POR. It is in fact in one of the courtyards in the magnolia section.

After the points have been awarded I will try and explain what was going on for each picture... some I may not be able to.

In today's picture, I know exactly what was happening.

First, this was taken on our Feb/March 2010 trip. You can see Zoe has an injury. She was being a monkey in DHS and fell. She did not spit open her skin...but gave herself quite the bruise. On this morning, she and I went exploring. We were alone. It was a terribly cold morning. It was so fun to wander the resort, just the two of us.

That was quick, Karen. And here I thought that maybe this was a bit harder... All three points go to you!

This was taken on our February 2009 trip. It was just the girls and I this trip. The guys went to the beach instead of joining us at WDW. Their loss was our gain. We had a blast!! This was the year that you got a free day on your birthday...but...if you had a package or AP you got a gift card for the amount of one day. So this trip was chalk full of discounts...a 4/3 + gc. We were moved from Pop to YC and then Zoe's "birthday gift" AMAZING!

I did not do a TR for this trip, but I did take notes. This happened to be on Zoe's birthday. I had thought maybe it was taken around the time we had an ADR for San Angel Inn... but looking over my notes, I see the slushy was a snack Kira had on Zoe's birthday. Kira had wanted one so bad. We had a hard time finding one. Funny thing now, after two more trips we have learned of so many other places to get them...including some different kinds. If we had known then what we know now...she could have had an american dream. It would have stained her lips less.

I will probably post tomorrow morning. My idea was to do a new one once each pic was done. However, I am not stumping y'all enough to do that. (I would run out of pics ) So one a day it is... at least for now.

I totally get the pictures. I don't have many from anything going on in day to day. Even the wedding left me with very few. Now WDW pics???? I have TONS of those! Priorities being what they are.

You should jump in too though! It is a fun way to pass the time.
