Christmas all year long!

It's a tough thing to do, even when it's the right thing.

Hang in there... May is hell, but you know we will be here for your sounding board.

:goodvibes

 Hang in there Ann.

Stressful weeks have a way of catching up with you. I had coffee with a great friend today and vented and cried and basically dumped all the crappy stuff going on in my life right now into her lap. wonderful friend that she is, she cried with me, hugged me and then told me to get off my but and do something about it! ;)

I'm so sorry about your cat. We are cat lovers here and last fall one of them ran away. My ds has been very sad because it was his kitty. But because I teach out of my home i can't get another one, too many kids with allergies.

I hope you get a chance to relax and get better this weekend. :goodvibes

:goodvibes Thanks for understanding. I think the stress has caught up with me. I slept in this morning and am hoping I feel a bit better. The weekend is the one weekend in the month I work... so not going to get to relax, but... it looks like it won't be a horrible amount of work either so that is at least good.

:hug: Aww just hang in there and you go ahead and vent all you need to, thats what we are here for.

I am so sorry about your kitty, we had to put down my 12yr old kitty and it about broke me.:hug:

I hope you start to feeling better soon and things slow down a little bit

Thank you. It was hard, but the right thing to do. I just wish I could have done more to make him comfortable these last couple months... but the wedding took up so much of my time as did work..and just regular life. I have guilt over not doing more for him. The best I could do was buy soft food and give him extra attention. (that he really didn't want)

Oh well, it is over now... Time to move on to the next order of business... my ad change and getting better.

 You once told me to vent away so I'm telling you the same! Glad you let it out and I'm sorry about the miserable cold.

One thing at a time... that's the only advice I have... or it's just too overwhelming to stare it all in the face at once. While I know you have Zach's graduation and Zoe's surgery coming up, and each of those are weighing on your mind on top of the day to day stuff, find time to take care of you... even 5 or 10 minutes.

Sorry about your kitty. So hard to let them go even when you know it's time. :flower3:

Thanks so much for you kind words of wisdom. :goodvibes I do have to take it a day at a time... and my 5 or 10 minutes... well, Dis is great for that ;) I am so glad to have all of you to vent to!! :grouphug:

 Hope you will feel MUCH better real soon!

I feel a bit better today... so hopefully that is a good sign. :thumbsup2

:goodvibes May is almost over!!! June will be a hard one too... but then July will come fast and I will get a chance to breath!

I just had to take a moment to have a bit of a pity party. Not a huge one mind you, but... just a moment.

I think I forgot to mention that as the wedding approached, I got a cold. It has been the worst one I have had in so long. I lost my voice at one point. It is just KICKIN my behind. :upsidedow I just keep waiting to wake up and feel better, but... so much has been going on I am just not able to take a complete break.

Ad change starts up tomorrow and I am tapped... but... onward I must go (and I will) but just feeling like I want to stay in bed... not spend hours and hours on my feet.

Then today we took in my 11 1/ year old kitty and had him put down. He has been getting sicker and sicker. A couple months ago we brought him in and he was given some "quick fixes" that if it wasn't something more severe (like cancer) would have worked. Well, it never made a bit difference and he as been having more bad days than good lately. He is down to about half his normal weight and you can see the bones on his back. It hurt him to eat...(the lesions in his were noticeable in his mouth.) He also won't use the litter box. (and..well ya know we just put in new carpet) So I know it was the right decision for both our family and for him, but it was hard. I am sad... :sad1:

Between the wedding, being sick, having a ton or work and now this... I am tapped. ;)

whew... got that off my chest... so time to shake it off... go have lunch with a friend... and get ready for the next moth. :goodvibes

TIA for listening to my pity party.

Ann, besides being Disney nuts, we've all become friends and if you can't have a pity party here, where can you?

I hope you are feeling better soon. And I am so sorry to hear about your cat. I am so dreading that day when we have to make that decision about Cookie. But you did make the right one.

I'm sending you a big

Ugh! Sorry to hear about all the bad news with your rant! Hopefully good things will follow shortly. Hope you are feeling better!

Thanks, ladies. Today was a good day. I may be needing to bring tissues to work (for the cold not for mourning),but overall I feel much better.

I took a moment to check on Steve's itinerary and found that they reservation was not processed right and was canceled. How nice of the airline to let us know. I would have thought Steve was all set for Zach's graduation.... :confused3 However, all is good cause the flight has come down in price. :woohoo: Bing says to wait on it cause it is dropping...so I will watch it a bit and see what happens. I don't want to gamble too much with it.

I am feeling like I may be in a bit of a planning slump for our December trip. I really can't do anything until next month. Seems odd... I keep wanting to tinker with things...but can't.

Kira's trip is going well, btw. I guess it is super hot there. I wish she would spend some time at POR and enjoy the pool...but they are staying in the parks. Oh... a question for any of you who have done the Fantasmic dinning package.... Last time we did it, since it came with an ap... we were able to get the antipasto plate (which is suppose to be for two) Today, I guess they would not let Kira have it as her ap. I wonder if it was just her waiter.

Anyway... just thought I would say thank you.. to all of you for being there in my moment. Things are definitely going to start looking up!! :goodvibes

Glad today is a better day. I am so sorry about your kitty! Decisions like that are so hard.

I feel like I am in a planning slump too...I really need to tinker with ADRs cause I am just not happy about them! I am so trying not to burn both ends of the candle and have down time, but I want to get everything in...cause I know we won't be going back FOR A VERY LONG TIME (if ever).

I know!!! i just feel like things are so n=busy and without hours set in stone and so much time till my ADR date, i just am not in the swing of it.

I dont know about the fantasmic package or not, but when we had our ap at tutto italia, any ap that was for two we could use on the DxDP instead of using each one.

I have a question that is trip related.. :woohoo:

:rotfl:

Ok, seriously... I am playing around with where to eat and totaling up credits and such. When in DHS, what quick service would you choose?

1. Toy Story Pizza Planet
2. Backlot Express.
3. ABC Commissary
4. Fairfax Fare
5. Studio Catering Company.

I have down Starring Rolls... but I need another qs for the scenario I am playing with.

Thanks!!!:goodvibes

We ate breakfast at Fairfax Faire, and I would not eat there again. I got a breakfast sandwich and somehow it was like damp. When you picked it up water or something would drip off of it. Granted you probably are asking outside of breakfast, but when you can't put eggs, bacon, and cheese on a bagel right, it leaves me wondering.

Oh and about preordering the PP cd, if you go and realize you didn't take enough photos, they will credit you back for not getting a CD.

I'm hoping some of the Christmas decorations will still be up when I get there!

We won't eat Disney pizza (YUCK!) so we've never gone to Toy Story Pizza Planet; ABC Commissary is awful, Studio Catering Company is so-so. We had a decent meal at Backlot Express. A friend here on the DIS said the ribs at Fairfax Fare were really, really good, but we never got a chance last year to try it. So my suggestionw ould be Backlot Express.

Love this! Watched a small piece at work... :rolleyes1 and I can't wait to finish it tonight!!!

I am glad you liked it. I came across it on another thread and thought it would be good to post here as well. Seems like we all need a bit of Christmas cheer to get us through till December. :thumbsup2

That was kinda my thought... we have not had a good experience with any pizza in WDW. (I think the sauce is too sweet if my memory serves) ABC... ummm... yeah.. the food is a bit cafeteria. (I think that is what they are going for, right?:confused3) Never been to Studio Catering... so that was something I wondered. Backlot seemed good enough the last time we went... so I figure that could be high in the running. Thanks for your input!! :thumbsup2

Yeah, I am not sure if we ate there or not last year. Maybe the guys did... :confused3 I appreciate your experience though... it is only a qs... so mainly we just need something that will give us something to eat... however, there are definitely diamonds in the ruff when it comes to qs. (like Starring Rolls or WPE)

This is good to know!!! Thanks :thumbsup2

I hope they will be for you too. I am not certain, but I think they stay up the first week in Jan... does anyone know???
