Any advice of dates parks will be decorated for Xmas as I know they stagger the dates and want to plan an Itinerary around the parks as wish to visit them all in Christmas theme. Also for Universal parks too. Thanks so much for any help here.

Can't help with Universal but Disney have the parks and resorts decorated before they start the Christmas Parties, which is generally the start of the second week of November, or thereabouts.

Don't forget the resorts. Some of them really go to town with the decs :thumbsup2

At DisneyWorld the Christmas season officially starts on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Next year that will be November 24.

Every November the parks and resorts are gradually transformed. Here's a general outline of what's happening this month.

Beginning immediately after the last Halloween party which was on Nov 1 this year they started decorating the parks and resorts for Christmas. The MK will be fully decorated by Nov 8 in time for the first Christmas party. The only exception is the big tree in Town Square which won't go up until after the parade is filmed during the first week end in December.

People have reported that the tree is up at the Studio. The Osborne Lights are up and due to be turned on this week also.

At Epcot the Candlelight Processional and Holiday Storytellers begin on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. There's also a gingergread house inside the Liberty Inn in the American Pavillion.

At the Grand Floridian the large gingerbread house is being assembled and should be finished by next week.

There will be trees, swags and decorations at all of the resorts which are installed throughout this month.

Can confirm that the Christmas Tree was up in studios around 4th November (similar time last year too as we saw it on our last day).

We left on 7th November and the Christmas wreaths etc had replaced the halloween pumpkins on the lights etc down Main Street.

Did not see anything festive in Epcot - presumably they wait till after Food & Wine is cleared out. Animal kingdom showed no signs of festivity either (but I suppose it is only the first week of November!!!)
