Christmas 2008 help please. BWV / SSR advise

Hi

We have been DVC members since 1999 but we have never tried booking during peak / premium times.

We will be coming from UK so are restricted to specific dates 19th DEC - 2 Jan.

We own 250 points @ BW and 120 @ SSR. Ideally we would love to spend the first part of our holiday @ BWV then move to SSR around the 28th.

We will be wanting a studio.

How easy will it be to book, will I have any chance? Do people have to phone day by day or can I wait till the 11 month from 2nd Jan?

Is there a waiting list I need to go on before hand?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I have not actually booked during that time, but from what I have read on here, I would call day by day for any trip in Dec. Because the dates you are wanting are a high point time, it may be a little easier than the first two weeks of the month. However, it is still Christmas and New Years and for my peace of mind, that is what I would do. I would definately use the 11 month window to get the reservation at each place you wanted to stay.
