Christmas '08/New Year's '09

We are "planning" our pts for the next couple of yrs and wanted to know if it would be easier to book a studio or 1 bedroom at the 11 month window for the week following Christmas over the New Year. We may even need a 2 bedroom for guests. I am guessing the studios go first anytime of yr but especially over the holidays when pts are so high?

Right at the eleven month mark you should be able to get what you need even at BCV. I was able to get two studios for two nights for December 23 and 24 at the SEVEN month mark a year ago, and there were plenty of 1BR's available at the seven month mark as well. I think you should be fine, but call day by day and call first thing.

I'm not sure if one is easier than another at the 11 month window calling day by day. What is your use year? If you have enough points, you may be able to book both the studio and the 2BR and cancel one in time to bank into the next UY once you know the status of your friends. I always do this for NYE as we share a 2BR with friends and they are never sure if they're going until mid-November. Our use year is September, so we have plenty of time to cancel and re-book later or bank forward.

We have never had a problem getting what we need over Christmas at the 7 month window and we have doing Christmas for the past 10 years.

Right there with you, day by day at 11 months for us as well. NYE on wednesday that year so the kids will be off the whole week.

Our use year is March and that makes it difficult to cancel ressies! I think we'll just try for 1 br! At least I've got three months to prepare myself for getting up before dawn to call MS!!
