Pre-Trip reporting:
So as many of you know, or at least the one's that are my Facebook friends, I will be "home" on Monday, Oct 4th- Sunday, Oct 10. We are staying at POFQ and hoping to get a river view. We are excited to be staying there again, as we stayed there in Sept. 2007. Maybe we will take advantage of a carriage ride.

We have a pretty packed week- we are all about Food & Wine Festival. We also have breakfasts at 'Ohana and Crystal Palace (Yay Eeyore!); lunch at Le Cellier and 50's Prime Time and dinner at Boma, Califronia Grill, Mama Melrose, Narcoossee's and drum roll please :rockband: VICTORIA & ALBERTS. I hope to phone in a review of V&A for the podcast when we get home.

As usual, I have puchased my Passporter and have already started putting in when we are having our dinners and input our flight info. Whether you have just left and feeling the "Disney blues" or are anxiously waiting your next trip, I hope this thread will find you in good spirits and possibly planning your next trip "home".

Have a Magical Day!

Well, we are packed, at least I am, and we are ready to go. We are going to make the best of this trip since it will be our last before we go on our honeymoon(God willing). Not engaged, yet, but it's pretty much and unspoken truth. Will update as much as I can.

Today is the day! We are currently on our way to the airport. Jason's mom was kind enough to drive us to and from the airport. It's cool and rainy here in NJ, but we are making good time.

I have been awake since 2am and up at 3am. Good thing too because I had to get a few last minute essential items packed (i.e. brushes). Feeling good and have a stomach full of butterflies bc I am so excited!

Will post updates at the end of each day. Thanks to all yhose following our trip.

Have a Magical Day and start Making Memories!

P.S. Ever notice that "Making Memories" is the same initials as Mickey Mouse? Subliminal message coincidence? I think not!

Hi all. Update on yesterday. We got to our resort around 11:30 and were all checked in and having lunch at Sassagoula's by 11:35. No exaggerating. We hoped on the bus to AK and our bus driver was CRAZY. He was doing 60 around turns. Eek! We somehow safely got to AK and did things we have never had the chance to do new did conservation Station and Camp Minnie Mickey. We were able to see festival of the Lion King and thought it was cool with the acrobatics, but we like Nemo a lot better.

We headed out of AK to AK Lodge for our ADR at Boma. We had gone to dinner here last year and the food was good. But, we were not impressed this time. I am a dessert person so I got a lot of desserts, only a little plate of actual food. Jay tried Peanut soup and it tastes just like it sounds. Really peanutty. Blech.

We headed back to the room for a bit to relax and before heading to MK EMH. We saw MSEP and then headed to go on rides. Wishes is for Saturday. When we started going on rides it seemed like nothing worked. Space Mtn broke down while we were waiting so we got FP to anything, Haunted Mansion stopped just as we were getting into the dining room part of the ride and POTC had backed up boats. Shesh. We hardly noticed the renovation walls, maybe bc we went at night.

Despite all the complaining, we had an excellent first day. We were just happy to be there and enjoying our time alone.

Today is 'Ohana, MK and Cali Grill. Until tomorrow.

I liked Nemo MUCH more than Lion King. I had always heard great things about LK, but he audience was silent through much of the performance. Maybe they were having an 'off' day...

Haunted Mansion stopped just as we were getting into the dining room part of the ride and POTC had backed up boats.
When I was on Haunted Mansion last month... I was stopped at the knocking doors. I was about to go nuts! :scared1: *knock knock knock* The POTC was backed up too, but they'd explained to me... since Big Thunder Mtn was down... they added extra boats to absorb the passengers that would have been on BTM (boy I hope that made sense...)

Looking forward to hearing more!!!

Wow, shocked about the peanut soup. When I had it in July, it was excellent, but I do eat Thai food somewhat regularly. It had some Thai influences with the spices used (it was fairly spicy). I'm hoping they have it the night I'm there with friends in December.

What a lot of people fail to realize is that when HM stops it is usually due to a disabled guest getting on and off the Doombuggies. It has nothing to do with things being broken down. PoC can get backed up for a variety of reasons, like the one you mentioned here.

Enjoy the rest of your trip, Christine!

Love a good trip report! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yay to my followers. Haha. Now for Tuesdays report-live from Mission:Space green side.

Yesterday was MK day. We started out with breakfast at Ohana where Stitch fast pitched a biscuit at Jay. Was hilarious bye said the Stitch threw pretty hard. We then headed over to MK. The lines were not that bad we walked on to Splash Mtn and Big thunder Mtn. We had a dinner reservation for Cali Grill at 5:50 so we left MK with 3 things left to do for another day.

Our dinner at Cali Grill was amazing! We got to sit in the very back overlooking the water and we could see EPCOT in the distance. We had amazing food and a great waiter that was only 5.5 months in as a server. It was a romantic dinner.

Later on we went to DTD and did some shopping and walked to West Side. We were absolutely exhausted.

Tomorrow, technically today is EPCOT all day with a lunch at Le Cellier blooming forward to it.

Til tomorrow. Have a magical day.

Nikki- our stall on POTC was not a disabled person new were stuck for more than 20 minutes just inside the jail scene. We have had other delays on other rides that were less than 2 minutes which I contribute to letting the disabled persons on, but not 20 minutes.

were stuck for more than 20 minutes just inside the jail scene. .
I bet you never want to hear someone whistling for a dog... EVER again! :rotfl:

Awesome report...have a wonderful time.

Now reporting live from the wait line for the 9:30 showing of Fantasmic. Yes it's 7:45 and there is a looooong line for Fantasmic. Yes I tried to get the dinner package, but they were all sold out.

Yesterday was all day at EPCOT. We got there at rope drop and FP Soarin. We then headed over the Living with the Land and Festival of the Lion King nBy then it was time for Soarin. Afterwards we tackled the Seas and were on our way to the F&WF.

We got the passport and it was fun to have them stamp it and see what you have ate. No tequila tasting here. We ate up somewhere around Belgium before we started making room for our late lunch/early dinner at Le Cellier.

We had an amazing server who gave us extra pretzel bread to take home. We had cheddar cheese soup for an appetizer, Jay had the filet and I had the NY strip. For dessert I had the maple creme brûlée and Jay had the whiskey chocolate cake. Boy were we full!

After dinner we went on Spaceship Earth, Ellens Energy Adventure and mission:Space. We then walked over to the showcase to finish up what we chose to eat and reserve a spot for Illuminations. We were next to the boat dock by Germany.

Illuminations was okay. Fantasmic is still our favorite.

I'll update tomorrow about our day at Hollywood Studios. Have a Magical Day.

Hi all! Yesterday was out HS day. We got there right before rope drop and headed straight to TSM. The line for FP was longer than the standby line. So we opted to go right on and a half hour we were off the ride. After that we saw The Little Mermaid and headed to lunch at 50's Prime Time. Our Cousin Carole was good, but a little too low key for me with a place like that.

After lunch we went to the Animation Studio. And who did we draw? None other than EEYORE. I was jumping in my seat! Afterwards, we saw Beauty and the Beast. We got out just in time to grab a spot for the Block Party which oneof my friends is a CM on the Toy Story float. I was able to see him and be brought me out to dance and did an amazing job at working the crowd and dancing.

After the "party" we went to the Am.Idol Experience. The girl who won the 2pm show was okay, but I voted for a mom who sang Patsy Cline(spelling?)very well. Weyhen went to the Star Tours area, did some shopping and watched some Jedi Training Academy before we had dinner at Mama Melrose.

Dinner was good. The calamari was awesome and I felt that the goat chEese ravioli was too doughy. The chocolate cheesecake was delicious!

After dinner we tried to get into the 8pm Fantasmic, but there was only standing room by 7:10. We opted to go to the 9:30'show non the meantime, we used our ToT FP that we got for dinner. By the time we got off the ride there was a waiting line for the 9:30pm show for Fantasmic.

On line we met this adorable family from Chicago. We had a good spot in line,10 ct from the ropes. We stayed together during the rope drop to the next waiting spot matter that it was every man for themselves when it was time to find seats for the show. Low and behold our new friends sat right behind us in the Mickey section about 10 rows up. Boy were we lucky.

We headed home after that, but not before I got my traditional Mickey bar at HS. Let's just say that our bus line was long. Try 4 bus stops long. That's okay because we were home in no time thanks to Disney transportation that sent 3 buses in a row.

Sorry so long. I'll check in about our "relaxing" Friday shortly.

Well, today was supposed to be a "relaxing" day. We started out getting up around 10 and walked around our resort then grabbed lunch at Sassagoula. Afterwards we decided to go to EPCOT. Jason got 2 doses of Cheddar cheese soup and we did O Canada. I was excited to do Kim possible as well. Our mission was in France. While at EPCOT I ran into ShellyMinnie for a bit. It was great to meet her.

After EPCOT we got ready for dinner at Narcoossees. Dinner was delicious and the wait staff was great. Later we walked to the wedding pavilion before a rehearsal started. After roaming the Grand we came home hopped in the jacuzzi. Jay hoped in the pool, but it was way too cold for me.

We then ordered a pizza to use up some food credits and headed to our room to relax and make it an early night for our MK day on Saturday.

More later on our MK day. Have a Magical Day!

So we had an ADR for Crystal Palace at 9am. We were on the bus and in the park by 8:30. We were able to take advantage of some Photo Pass before breakfast. As always Eeyore was adorable and the staff was great. We then made our way to Fantasyland and FP Peter Pan and got anbonus FP for Philharmagic (which we gave away). While waiting for our FP time we got on Dumbo and the carousel. After that it was time for our Peter Pan FP. This was the first time for Jay on the ride and I felt that we had to do it.

After our time on rides we roamed the throughout fantasyland and Toon Town. There we met Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, Drizella, Prince Naveeen and Princess Tiana. Before we beaded out to get ready for dinner we got ornaments at the Christmas shop.

We then roamed down Main Street and headed back to the room to get changed for our dinner at Victoria and Albert's. This dinner was Ah- may- zing!!! The first 3 courses were not. My cup of tea, but the following 4 were decadent. We brought a change of clothes to change into in odder to see MSEP again and catch Wishes as well.

We tried to ride some rides after the shows, but the ones that we wanted to ride were closed so we decided to come home.

Now we are relaxing and are preparing for our trip back home to NJ. Boo!

Okay. So, here is one of the last updates of our trip. Today is departure day and of course we are bummed. We woke up around 9am to get ready and check out. I was able to get a quick breakfast for us to try and use up pur dining plan. We did express check-out so all we had to do was check our bags. We then headed to MK for one last goodbye.

While at MK we purchased our PhotoPass CD and a picture, rode Haunted Mansion and Winnie the Pooh. We had lunch at Pecos Bills and then roamed stores for last minute items. I got some vinyls at the Emporium and wound up trading all of them for Toy Story vinyls. I am 7 away from completing that set and 2 away from completing urban 2 which is gone temporarily. Hint: the chaser for TS is Dr.Evil Porkchop. The CM told me after I made a potato head chaser comment that they cannot make that the chaser for copywrite reasons.

We are now relaxing until DME arrives for us at 5:10. In the meantime we will relax and grab a bite to eat in our food court then it's homeward bound time. Boo :(

Thanks for reading up on our VERY magical trip. Have a Magical Day.
