Christina, I just read through your PJ now and everything sounds/looks wonderful!

I'm from South FL also--originally from Miami, now live in Miramar.

I'm doing the WP and GF wedding too, in January. Can't wait to hear about your planning session!

So here are some pics that my sister took while we were picking out foods to try for the planning session, it was very stressful b/c mom was with my aunt and dad was with us telling us to wait for mom… My father becomes very handicapped without mom.

We have been contemplating: I want a sit down dinner, Geancarlo wants buffet.

I am very picky when I go to weddings; I have been to probably 2 weddings out of like 15 that I enjoyed the food. So I ALWAYS told my mom, that when I get married I want people to leave and say ‘WOW great food’

So we are going through the menus

I literally cant take it anymore

I will continue the rest when I get home,,, believe me more pics from my sister and Dad’s face before he hears the price per plate and after!!!! Its hilarious

We are going to do the Cinderella Glass Coach BUFFET..lol we are customizing it- I will let you know what items are on the menu as soon as I speak to

We kayaked around Vizcaya during our January vacation to Miami--I am totally jealous of you! Whenever we northeast brides complain about snow, you must sit back, stare at the ocean, and laugh.

That is one gigantic binder...

So we are coming to some agreement
We want Carrot ginger Soup from Boma and the iceberg wedge salad for appetizer
and the Raspberry Champagne Sorbet for Intermezzo

GREAT finally coming together
Thank you Lord we are almost nearing the end

So we decided to do BUFFET
we are going to have an action carving station with chicken, beef, and fish
Great for those who can choose
Mashed potato bar
and side dishes
such as a variety of grilled vegetables

And a dessert buffet
with fondue, assorted cheesecakes and of course the cake

OK NO MORE-

Now the best part and also sad for my dad

NOW my sister tells him the total per person per plate, and he couldnt believe his ears..

I hate seeing my dad stressed but he looked at me and said 'if thats what you want then go ahead' its all worth it in the endwhat a great DAD

Same problem here. Although, in the end, I believe we are going to go with the Glass Coach Buffet too. However, it's going to be customized. There are lots of changes I'm sure. So far, that's almost the most stressful decision there was!

Nice to see I'm not the only one who has to deal with this debate... although I think DF has finally convinced me to go with the buffet! Besides, we may put his groomsmen in hockey jerseys for the pictures - it's not like we're really going for total formal decorum here!!

Your Dad is an absolute sweetheart to give his Baby Girl whatever she wants. I am sure DH is going to be exactly that way with our DD, too, and I've already promised her Cinderella's coach. Hey, it's one day in a lifetime. What the heck have we worked so hard for all these years if we can't spoil our kids a little? Enjoy the planning, sweetie!

Here! Here! I totally agree with that Cam. My DD19 has already begun hinting that she wants to get married in the Italy courtyard and I'm sure her daddy will get her whatever she wants, carriage, the moon...etc.

I have binder envy! That binder is quite impressive. I have a binder and an expanding folder/briefcase thing with all my stuff in it. I have to get all my stuff together for our PS next month. I'm trying to figure out the best way to compile information for Karen and whoever my floral person is.

I'm glad things are coming together for you on the menu, even though it seemed stressful, it's one more thing checked off the list!

HAHAHA these pictures were priceless!!! Love them. it looks like me and my DF and we didn't even get to the menu picking stage. I love your PJ. Can't wait to read more!!
