I am definetely sick Fever and a bad cough and all achy! YUK!! I am going to try to see the doc tomorrow to make sure it isn't an infection like Bronchitis or pnemonia. I'm ususally not quick to see the doctor but since the boys just got over pnemonia I don't want to tak e any chances.

Thanks for asking about Vinny, Sarah. Unfortunately I didn't get to church today and I haven't talked to his wife since late last week. I am hoping to call her today. I know they were doing some things to try to make him more comfortable and so he would have less pain. I'm not sure that he will be able to come home. Please keep praying for peace for him and his family. Thanks!

Well I slept a lot this morning...I guess that's good. I am missing a beautiful day outside so I may try to go out and sit in a chair for a bit.

Jeanne must be enjoying this great weather out there in Hershey! Thinking of you Jeanne!

Jilly, I am sorry you are not feeling well. And I hope you are not getting what your boys had. I will say a prayer for you. I will be keeping Vinny and his family in my prayers.

And it's raining here today, so not very much fun to be outside today. But that's alright because I have to work today.

Well today I am off to get my books for my NA class. I can't believe I start school this thursday already, the time is just flying bye! But I guess that's good and bad in some ways. One way that it is good is that my Disney World trip will be here real soon! And I am almost under a 100 days, I can't wait!

Hi everyone, I just got back from my follow up doctor's appointment and wanted to let you all know how it went. It turns out that my results were NOT normal like the lady told me over the phone. My spine x-ray showed that I have Spina Bifida Occulta of the S1 vertabrae. It's something I was born with and apparently it's nothing major it can just lay a serious hurtin' on you from time to time. I have to go for physical therapy 3 times a week for the next month and then see the doctor again. He also gave me some new medication to help with the pain since the other he prescribed hadn't helped any. So we shall see what happens. There is nothing that can be done to fix it in the natural but we don't serve a God of the natural, we serve a SUPERNATURAL God who can do far more than we could ever think or imagine! It's nice just to have an answer as to what is wrong.

Hi Sis, I so am glad you were able to find out what is wrong. And I am so reveled to hear that is nothing major( although when you are hurtting everything seems major, to me atleast). I hope the new medication and the physical therapy will help with the pain. And yes we do serve a SUPERNATURAL God. More prayers are being said for you my sweet sis.

Hey Michelle! I just emailed you about being so glad that you have a diagnosis that you can begin getting treated for!

I am feeling a bit better today. I slept better last night because I had a heavy duty cough syrup that the doctor gave me to keep me from coughing continually. It'll probably be a while before I'm 100%. This really hit out of no where and I thought it was strange how similar it was to what my boys just had. The doc said if it does not improve he will give me an antibiotic but as of now he doesn't think it is bacterial. I can tell it is the end of the day as it seems to get worse in the evening like most viruses. I can also feel it when the cough medicine starts wearing off. Trying my best to keep resting as I am able.

Vinny's doctors have informed his family that he will probably not live through the week. We did go to see him even though I was getting over being sick. I pray He will be able to be at HOME and at peace with His loving Lord and Savior soon...all safe and secure and free from pain and confusion in the arms of Jesus. Thanks for all of the prayers offered up on his behalf and for his family.

I'm glad you have some medication and were able to get some sleep. I will keep praying and I hope you are feeling super duper super soon!

I'm so sorry to hear about Vinny. I pray for him and his family often and will continue to do so. Such a bittersweet situation. To look forward to eternity with Jesus and being free from all life's worries coupled with the pain of leaving your family and knowing the sorrow they will endure. I'm just praying for God's peace and strength to surround this family.
