I was in the shower this morning and the spirit just spoke to me. Telling me how good God is to me and my family, all I could do was praise him.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all have a blessed weekend.

Also I was wondering if you guys would mind saying a prayer for my moms brother-in-law. He is in the Hospital right now, in Hospices care. We went to go see him last night and his children were there too, so we got to see them as well which was really nice( because we never get to see them any more). His children talked to the doctors and they told them that he only has about two weeks left to live( but now there not sure if he will make it through the weekend). He has cancer and diabetes and he has been trying to win the fight for three years. His name is Jake Thomas.

And thank you guys for always being there for me and everyone else too, it means the world to me.

Thank you so much Moving Buddy(Sis) and Sheree for all of your prayers. I am sad to say my uncle Jake Thomas passed away today, to be with his wife and the Lord. I know that he will be in good hands and that he can now rest in peace.
May you rest in peace Jake Thomas.

Strength in prayer is in numbers. Prayers are definitely being up lifted right now.

Father pray for your strength, patience, and love. God, I pray for your healing. Many people are sick and need to know you. I ask you father that you keep all of us here in you bossom, so that we may continue to up lift your name and know that their is no man greater than you. I also I have to tell you guys some really exciting that happend at Church tonight. I don't know if any of you have heard of this before or if you have already have done it, but I just signed up to do Unidos En Cristo at my Church that I go to now. Two of my really good friends are going to sponsor me. I have heard my really good friend talk about it all the time and she said the best way to put it is, it is like a gift that has been given to you. Although it won't be until Nov. when I get to do it, I can't wait! I just wanted to share some happy and exciting news with all of you.

Unidos En Cristo

Sounds similar to Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP)- pronounced 'Chrip' weekend. Here is a link to one being held at a parish (not ours). Marie and both hace gone on Chrip weekends, over 15 years ago. My group dissolved in about 2 years, Marie's group still meets about 8 or so times a year, rotating homes and outings, a very solid group, best of friends.

Thanks so much Dan, it's always good to see you. And thank you for giving us a link to the website for Unidos En Cristo, that's what I am going to be doing in Nov. This is what the little book say's that I have:

An Unidos En Cristo (say "oo nee dos en kreesto) is a three day learning, sharing, inspirational experience of living in a Christian community. Formerly named Cursillo ( say "kur-see-o"), an abbreviation of the full title: Cursillo de Christiandad, it is a short Course in Christian Living.

During an Unidos En Cristo weekend, 30 or more people move into a church facility on a thursday night and live there until sunday evening. The "staff" consists of 3-4 spiritual directors (ordained clergy) plus a team of already been on a "Cursillo". Throughout the weekend, the lay team members and spiritual directors share ideas and experiences through a series of talks and planned activities.

Each person attending a weekend has a Sponsor- someone who has previously attended a Cursillo. Your Sponsor will be your friend and sheperd before, during and after your weekend.
