Jilly!!!! Thanks for singing those songs for me! Some of my faves plus that last FFH one that I don't know, but look forward to learning! DD has the BDW cd so I have heard them but don't know them well yet.

Here is a Psalm that a sweet Sis sent me not long ago. I printed it out and gave it to DD before her trip along with a note that I'd be praying for her. She took it with her, so I guess it meant something to her....you never know with teens!

I just had a call from DD....unfrotuanately I was online so could only hear the message she recorded on Callwave. They are getting ready to board the plane. I tried calling her back, but they had shut off the cell phone. Wanted to let them know about the storm they would be flying home to (and possibly delaying them)....knowing them, they didn't watch the weather for out here. Thanks for the prayers.

GOD has a harvest of blessing in mind for you. Don't let the devil steal it away from you by discouraging you into giving up. Trust in GOD. HE is able to put you over.

Time has a way of wearing us down...of eroding our hopes and dreams. We must look to GOD for strength and courage and refuse discouragement. We must, with GOD's help overcome...instead of being overcome...by life and circumstances.

Life is not easy. There are obstacles and unexpected turns in the road. But always GOD is with us, for us, and in us as believers in JESUS CHRIST. When we grow weary in doing good, it is always because we are losing sight of GOD and eternity.

As you walk in faith and refuse to give up...you bring glory and pleasure to GOD. Imagine how it thrills GOD when someone, like you, continues to trust in HIM and thank HIM...even when it does not look like it is working out very good. Read the Bible. You are not the first to be tested, or have to wait for the promise to be manifested. But GOD is always faithful. HE will never fail you.

Our faith cannot be in ourselves or our ability...because that can fail. Only GOD cannot fail, so we must keep our faith in HIM and HIS ability to sustain us and help us.

Remember that as a believer, the Greater One is in you -- and HE is greater than any problem or difficulty. HE will help you. GOD has the answer for your situation. Look to HIM and you will not be disappointed.

Good morning everyone. I have something heavy on my heart and would like you all to pray. I don't know if you have seen the thread on the debate board for the movie Passion of Christ. But there are a lot of people on that thread that need our prayers. This movie, I believe, is going to make a huge impact on the world-hopefully for the good! Mel Gibson is a brave man that also needs our prayers and so does his cast. Apparently they are getting death threats etc. If you have a minute just skim thru the thread and say a quick prayer for those who need some intervention. Thank you all.

Thanks for the link. I just skimmed a few pages.....wow! I have prayed for several over there...especially the one who will see it "for entertainment" sake....not sure why her, just felt led to do so. Prayed for the believers too to speak in love, understanding and wisdom.

With all of the talk about "The Passion of Christ" and with Ash Wednesday coming up this week, I've just had this song on my mind. Our church has rented the movie theater next Saturday for a special showing of the movie -- I know that it's going to be graphic and violent, but I really need to see and remember that Christ died with my name on his lips!
