Sorry I haven't been visiting more often but I wanted to say hello to my brothers and sisters. I still think about and pray for you from time to time.

A brief update, my church is alive and well and bursting at the seams even with the new addition to the church. We are now looking to purchase a very large piece of land to build the new church (God willing). My family is doing fine and we are expecting a new addition come the end of March. (you guys are the 1st to know here on the Dis) Life is good praise God!!!!

This song has been stuck in my head for the past few days so I thought I'd share it with you.

AT THE CROSS

I know a place, a wonderful place,
Where accused and condemnedFind mercy and grace,
Where the wrongs we have done
And the wrongs done to us
Were nailed there with him there on the cross.

At the cross, he died for our sin;
At the cross, he gave us life again.

I know a place, a wonderful place,
Where accused and condemnedFind mercy and grace,
Where the wrongs we have done
And the wrongs done to us
Were nailed there with you there on the cross.

At the cross, (At the cross,) you died for our sin;
At the cross, (At the cross,) you gave us life again.

God bless you all and I hope to stop in more often.

Adam aka Big Dude

Oh Adam! What a blessing!!!!

Congratulations! And best wishes for the pregnancy!!!

Praise God!

My best wishes for your brother, Jeanne. He will be in my prayrs for a full recovery.

Dan

Thank you all so much for the prayers for my brother Larry. He is doing better, and will be in the hospital for a few days. I am hoping to go visit tonight or tomorrow (depends on my sitter) and will pass along the message of all your prayers. You are all a blessing to me!

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.

O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
O how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.

What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
I have blessèd peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.

I will bless the Lord forever
And I will trust Him at all times
He has delivered me from all fear
And He has set my feet upon a rock

And I will not be moved
And I'll say of the Lord....

You are my shield
My strength
My portion
Deliverer
My shelter
Strong tower
My very present help in time of need

Whom have I in Heaven but you
There's none I desire beside you
You have made me glad
And I'll say of the Lord....

You are my shield
My strength
My portion
Deliverer
My shelter
Strong tower
My very present help in time of need

You are my shield
My strength
My portion
Deliverer
My shelter
Strong tower
My very present help in time of need

Christ Jesus, who died – more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:33-39

DUDE!!!!!!!!! How are you?????? Doing well, it would seem! Congratulations on the coming new addition! So glad to hear about your church and will pray for all of that is happening...HOW EXCITING!!!!

Jeanne, I am praying for Larry. I pray he will know healing quickly and be drawn close to God in these hours of recovery and sorting through what happened. I am so thankful for you that Larry is still with you. At least one family on Thursday night was not so fortunate from that pile-up on the NE extension. You didn't say if that was the accident that he was involved in but I know MANY were so I wouldn't be surprised.

BARB!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya sis!!!!!!! What an experience at Women of Faith! Guys, it was truly AWESOME!!!!!! NOW I am only saddened that I didn't get your response to the thread so we could have met ! :( That is if we could have found each other!!!LOL Ya'll, 19,800 women in this stadium singing MWS "Agnus Dei" (Plus many others)...:sunny: It was like a taste of HEAVEN!!!!!!! Man!!! I was in the nosebleed section and I looked down and out and across - and all of these figures across the crowd near and far as I could see - and the SOUND whew! MAN~~~PRAISE GOD! HOLY, HOLY Are you Lord God Almighty! Worthy is the Lamb! Worthy is the Lamb! You are Holy!
And the speakers were phenonmenal!!!!!! Barb, My SIL Rose and I went to the preconference in Bensalem on Friday and that was amazing too! All were touched with the heart and the message of God and the truth shining forth to encourage and to SAVE!!!!!!!!!! The person I asked prayer for IS a Christian (very new Christian) but has been struggling in her faith, in her marriage and with her kids...I know this weekend touched her and I pray for God's wisdom to help me follow up with her.

THANKS ALL for your prayers!

Also my time with Jess was good. THANK YOU, Jesus. SHe is a Christian and she receives counseling as she is struggling with eating disorders. My heart breaks for her just as the heart of God does for us when we hurt...But as I told her...When we place God where He belongs...on the throne of our hearts...and we ADORE HIM for all He is and does and HAS DONE...we can then place ourselves where we belong...inadequacies, rebellious hearts, hurting and ever self seeking....we lay it at His throne and give ourselves to Him allowing His love and compassion to flow and to heal and restore and eventually FILL US to overflowing! He SOOOO inhabits our praises and desires to hear our confessions to Him so that, being where He wants us, HE CAN REIGN IN US!!!!

AMEN!

Fur, The scripture above is SO AWESOME! I SECOND JEANNE'S AMEN!:bounce: I love all of the hymns and songs posted too by everyone too!!

Michelle, at first I thought...Marlin???? But then I thought I might be able to see it a LITTLE bit....especially when I read the description! HEY PRINCESS, YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE KING AND TRUE ROYALTY!!!!!!!! BE ENCOURAGED, DEAR ONE AND WALK IN THE CONFIDENCE OF YOUR STANDING IN CHRIST!!!! princess: YAY! LOVE YA SIS! Praying for you in WDW...you know we're all so jealous you can just pop over there any 'ol time! :p ;) Have fun!

Oh Jilly it was so so wonderful!!!! I loved everything about every second!!! I would have loved to go to the preconference! I had a feeling you were there when you weren't around yesterday. Next year, it's a must (if we get tickets...I can't get over that they're going so quick!)

I can't say enough about the speakers! What a phenomenal group of women and the way God has gifted them and touched their lives is so awesome! Shelia's "Our Mighty Fortress" was one of the most beautiful things I've heard!

I was an absolute blubbery mess during Nicole's "boat" skit! I started with the scripture.

I couldn't get over Jennifer O'Neill's story...what heartbreaking honesty and what a spirit!

And CeeCee!!!!!!!! I just closed my eyes and got lost in the Spirit! It was truly flowing in that place!

Praise God that He is working in your friend this weekend. Someone described to me, when I first received Christ that we will struggle with our faith, especially at first. He described our receiving as our bucket being filled with the Holy Spirit, but we always needed to pray for refilling because we leak!! We have little holes in our bucket that are the circumstances in our life. I pray that the messages we heard today go a long way in your friends "filling"!!!

You are a treasure to Jess, I'm sure! What wisdom you have!

I was in section 213 in the first row that just seemed to hang out over the edge. It was a bit hairy at first, but I got used to it!

I'm so sorry not to have met you, but I thought about you and was hugging you in spirit, my friend!!!

If this conference comes near you girls...run to get tickets. There's nothing like it!!!!

Hey Michelle...the last Women of Faith Conference for this year is THIS weekend in Orlando. There have GOT to still be tickets somewhere. In Philly there were people who had extra and they were GIVING them away at the entrance on Saturday. It is SOOO truly Awesome! If you can at ALL go and get a friend to go along I would HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU to do so!!!!! You WILL NOT be sorry!! You can go to www.womenoffaith.com to seek out tickets too. And if they say they have sold out don't let that discourage you...people on their messsage boards have lots of tickets even up to the last minute....pray about this sister...I know this conference would touch your heart.

I would just like to stand in agreement with CRB's comment about RUNNING to one of these conferences in a heartbeat if they come near to you. They start their new season in February I think.

Barb, Kathy Trocolli spoke and sang at the preconference. She used the story of Lazarus and how Jesus called out his name...He awoke from death and went out of the grave. When we first hear the call, we go to him and enter our new life...HOWEVER, Lazarus was still wrapped in his graveclothes...she said for us coming to Christ is our salvation and life...then we must endure the PROCESS of being unwound from our graveclothes. Like you said about the bucket, (BTW Patsy Clairmount used THAT analogy at the preconference...LOL), it IS a process to unwind those grave clothes and be free from our our past and to allow God to plug up those holes so we can be FILLED with his Spirit to all fullness and then OVERFLOWING and poured out for our nieghbors! Sometimes we WANT to hold onto our graveclothes and keep our leaks because we're used to them or we're afraid...AFRAID!!!!????Afraid of FULL EXPOSURE TO AND FILLING FROM GOD...IMAGINE???? DUH!

May you each become MORE UNBOUND and FILLED TODAY! :hug: :wave:

To everybody back home

Back home now I know you're prob'ly sleeping,
But over here it's the middle of the day.
I finally found some time to write a letter,
Sittin' here a half a world away.

I heard about all them folks protesting,
As if I really want this war.
But that don't stop me from believing
There're just some things worth fighting for.

And if I die before you wake,
I pray the world will take
A good look at what God's given us.

If we could only understand
Everything is in His hands.
All we need is a little faith and trust.
I want you to know it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.

Tell everybody that I miss them,
and I can't wait to get back home.
Until then, I'll serve my country
and be proud to wear this uniform.

And if I die before you wake,
I pray the world will take
A good look at what God's given us.

If we could only understand
Everything is in His hands.
All we need is a little faith and trust.
I want you to know it ain't too high a price to pay
If I die before you wake.

No, it ain't too high a price to pay
if I die before you wake.

God bless our troops!

Happy Belated Birthday Stamper!

I think maybe a lot of people's fear is shame and not wanting to give up control. I've never felt more freedom than since when I realized how I was forgiven and how much love there is when you do open yourself to Him to be filled. :) :) :)

I heard this song today for the first time by Avalon! It's just beautiful!!!

I grew up in Sunday school
I memorized the Golden Rule
And how Jesus came to set the sinner free
I know the story inside out
I can tell you all about
The path that led Him up to Calvary
But ask me why He loves me
And I don't know what to say
But I'll never be the same
Because He changed my life when He became...

Everything to me
He's more than a story
More than words on a page of history
He's the air that I breathe
The water I thirst for
And the ground beneath my feet
He's everything, everything to me

We're living in uncertain times
And more and more I find that I'm aware
Of just how fragile life can be
I want to tell the world I found
A love that turned my life around
They need to know that they can taste and see
Now every day I'm praying
Just to give my heart away
I want to live for Jesus
So that someone else might see that He is...

And looking back over my life at the end
I'll go to meet You saying You've been

You're everything to me
You're more than a story
More than words on a page of history
You're the air that I breathe
The water I thirst for
And the ground beneath my feet
You're everything
Lord, You're everything to me

This Is The Air I Breathe

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me

And I, I'm desperate for you
And I, I'm lost without you

This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very Word
spoken to me

And I, I'm desperate for you
And I, I'm lost without you

This is the air that I breathe

Thanks for the B-day wishes you guys!

Love that Avalon song above!

Ok...I'm taking a survey: What CD's are on YOUR Christmas wish list? Every year people ask what I want and I never can remember the things I have said I wanted through out the year(yes, I'm getting old)....so help jog my memory as there are sure to some on your lists that I wanted too!:D

The only one I can remember is the new FFH one....I know there were others that sounded good, but my head hurts too much to think!!!

The new iWorship cd... I love last years. Also, the iWorship Christmas CD.

In His Time

In His ime, In His Time
He makes all things beautiful in His time
Lord, please show me everyday
as You're teaching me your way
That you do just what You say
In Your time

In Your time, In Your time
You make things beautiful in Your time
Lord, my life to You I bring
May each song I have to sing
Be to You a lovely thing
In Your time

Have a great day everyone!!!:wave2:

Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne.
Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.

Crown Him the virgin’s Son, the God incarnate born,
Whose arm those crimson trophies won which now His brow adorn;
Fruit of the mystic rose, as of that rose the stem;
The root whence mercy ever flows, the Babe of Bethlehem.

Crown Him the Son of God, before the worlds began,
And ye who tread where He hath trod, crown Him the Son of Man;
Who every grief hath known that wrings the human breast,
And takes and bears them for His own, that all in Him may rest.

Crown Him the Lord of life, who triumphed over the grave,
And rose victorious in the strife for those He came to save.
His glories now we sing, Who died, and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die.

Crown Him the Lord of peace, Whose power a scepter sways
From pole to pole, that wars may cease, and all be prayer and praise.
His reign shall know no end, and round His piercèd feet
Fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.

Crown Him the Lord of love, behold His hands and side,
Those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends His burning eye at mysteries so bright.

Crown Him the Lord of Heaven, enthroned in worlds above,
Crown Him the King to Whom is given the wondrous name of Love.
Crown Him with many crowns, as thrones before Him fall;
Crown Him, ye kings, with many crowns, for He is King of all.

Crown Him the Lord of lords, who over all doth reign,
Who once on earth, the incarnate Word, for ransomed sinners slain,
Now lives in realms of light, where saints with angels sing
Their songs before Him day and night, their God, Redeemer, King.

Crown Him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time,
Creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime.
All hail, Redeemer, hail! For Thou has died for me;
Thy praise and glory shall not fail throughout eternity.

AMEN!
