Princes and Paupers
Sons and daughter
Kneel at the throne of grace
Losers and winners
Saints and sinners
One day will see His face

And we'll all bow down
Kings will surrender their crowns
And worship Jesus
He is the love
Unfailing love
He is the love of God

Summer and Winter
The mountains and the rivers
Whisper the Savior's name
Awesome and Holy
A Friend to the lowly
Forever His love will reign

And we'll all bow down
Kings will surrender their crowns
And worship Jesus
He is the love
Unfailing love
He is the love of God

He is the light of the world
And Lord of the cross

And we'll all bow down
Kings will surrender their crowns
And worship Jesus
He is the love
Unfailing love
He is the love of God

Our heart, our desire
Is to see the nations worship
Our cry, our prayer
Is to sing Your praise
to the ends of the earth

That with one mighty voice
Every tribe and tongue rejoices
Our heart, our desire
Is to see the nations worship You

Piece of Heaven
Go Fish

He's gone, how can that be?/He was just here, it doesn't make sense to me/Yet, I see you smilin' and I understand/You're living proof that his life had a plan// Sometimes it's hard/Sometimes it's the middle of the night/ Sometimes everything's wrong/But sometimes everything is right/ /CHORUS/ I see a piece of heaven/When I look at you/And it shines so bright/After all you've been through/It doesn't seem fair/Things like this never do/But now I see a piece of heaven/When I look at you//People try, but only jesus could know/ The pain in your heart that may never go/Tough questions, they never leave your mind/Easy answers, they're nowhere to find//Sometimes it's hard/Sometimes it's the middle of the night/Sometimes it's all wrong/Sometimes it can be all right/CHORUS//BRIDGE/You may not see what you've been given/With all that's been taken away/Just remember from the darkest of nights/Always come the brightest days//

You are the God of the broken
Friend of the weak
You wash the feet of the weary
Embrace the ones in need
I want to be like you Jesus
And have this heart in me
You are the God of the humble
You are the humble King

Here in this dusty crowd
I bow with kings
Where wisemen laid before
Their offerings
I lay no golden crown
Here at Your feet
Just this my broken life
I offer Thee

You are the God of the broken
Friend of the weak
You wash the feet of the weary
Embrace the ones in need
I want to be like you Jesus
And have this heart in me
You are the God of the humble
You are the humble King

Kneel me down again
Here at Your feet
Show me how much You love humility
Oh Spirit be the star
That leads me to
The humble heart of love
I see in You

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises.
I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are discouraged take heart.
Come, let us tell of the Lord's greatness; let us exalt His name together.

Psalm 34:1-3

Zen1, it's so nice to see you! Thanks so much for the song you posted, I love it and I don't think I've ever heard it before. :)

Fur, you've done some great singing last night as well! :)

Healing Waters/Michelle Tumes

I've built a bridge
All of my strength cannot cross over
I stand at the edge
The end of a road that I have followed
Sinking from the weight of my own world
Wanting the waves of Your ways to wash my feet

Healing waters
Healing waters
Solace flows
Through the river of forgiveness to my soul
Oh, I need You
Healing waters

Pour over me
Water to clean all my intentions
Baptizing streams
I swim in the freedom of redemption
Floating on the sea of purity
Knowing I can dive in the love that rescues me

Memories are raging high
Floods so deep they touch the sky
All the things I've done to You
All the parts of life untrue
Healing comes from outstretched hands
Saving me from what I am
Carry me
Carry me

He Never Changes/4HIM

You stand there abandoned, your friends have all gone
Fairweather companions have left you all alone
This world full of changes has cut to the heart of your soul
But through all the pain only Jesus remains
And in each situation you know

He never changes, He's always the same
Through all the ages, He always remains
Forever constant, forever a friend
Forever faithful, His love knows no end
He never changes, He's always the same

A God so amazing I can't comprehend
The depth of His mercies such grace that has no end
I'm awed by the thought that I'm formed in the image of Him
But my humanity brings me down to my knees
And I find that's when His strength begins

He never changes, He's always the same
Through all the ages, He always remains
Forever constant, forever a friend
Forever faithful, His love knows no end
He never changes, He's always the same

As surely as the summer breezes come and go
There'a cold and lonely winter wind that's bound to blow
But through the turning of the seasons
You don't ever have to be alone...never alone...because...

He never changes, He's always the same
Through all the ages, He always remains
Forever constant, forever a friend
Forever faithful, His love knows no end
He never changes, He's always the same

Remember Your Chains/Steven Curtis Chapman

I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking
As he stared out the window through the sky
It seemed he was taking his last look at freedom
From the hopeless, longing look in his eyes
There were chains on his hands and chains on his feet
And as I passes him by the thought came to me

Remember your chains
Remember the prison that one held you
Before the love of God broke through
Remember the place you were without grace
When you see where you are now
Remember your chains
And remember your chains are gone

There's no one more thankful to sit at the table
Than the one who best remembers hunger's pain
And no heart loves greater than the one that is able
To recall the time when all it knew was the shame
The wings of forgiveness can take us to heights never seen
But the wisest ones, they will never lose sight of where they were set free
Love set them free

So remember your chains
Remember the prison that one held you
Before the love of God broke through
Remember the place you were without grace
When you see where you are now
Remember your chains
And remember your chains are gone

And in the light of all that we've been forgiven of
We will find our hearts fuller and freer
To give and receive God's love

So remember your chains
Remember the prison that one held you
Before the love of God broke through
Remember the place you were without grace
When you see where you are now
Remember your chains
Oh, remember your chains
When you remember your chains
Remember your chains are gone
Imagine what your life would be
If Jesus had not set you free
Remember your chains are gone
Remember all that once held you
Before the love of God broke through
Remember your chains
And remember your chains are gone

Hey guys,

Don't know if any of you have been watching the Today show's "Superstar" contest or not. There was a man from VA who I'd say is a Christian from what I've seen. Well, he won today!!! What an awesome voice God has given him....maybe someday we'll be posting his songs here! His name is Anthony Campbell....he'll be on again along with the other "finalists" Next Weds.

Great songs everyone. I'm off to a 4 day dog show....so I won't be back on til Tues. Have a great weekend!

Hey stamper! That's awesome about the guy on the Today Show! Christians really need to be making a mark in the secular world of music too. Like that story about that Mercy Me song being played on the radio and all of the response it got! I think it's I Can Only Imagine. I'll be praying for you as you travel! :)

Praying for everyone today and thanking GOd for all of the wonderful songs and scriptures posted here to the GLORY OF HIS NAME!!!!

I Can Only Imagine

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk by Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When Your face is before me
I can only imagine

Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus, or in awe of You be still
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship You
I can only imagine

Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus, or in awe of You be still
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine

For the beauty of the earth
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies.

Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.

For the beauty of each hour,
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale, and tree and flower,
Sun and moon, and stars of light.

Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.

For the joy of ear and eye,
For the heart and mind’s delight,
For the mystic harmony
Linking sense to sound and sight.

Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.

For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, child,
Friends on earth and friends above,
For all gentle thoughts and mild.

Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.

For Thy Church, that evermore
Lifteth holy hands above,
Offering upon every shore
Her pure sacrifice of love.

Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.

For each perfect gift of Thine,
To our race so freely given,
Graces human and divine,
Flowers of earth and buds of Heaven..

Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise

I just typed this one up for Sunday's Worship service, and I remembered how much I always enjoy singing it...

This one is going out to JC2, she knows why, and trust me ladies, it ain't good. ;) :p :teeth: Okay, so only the title applies but she will be lucky if she doesn't get struck... ::yes::

Waiting for Lightning/Steven Curtis Chapman

Standing on the edge of the truth,
Looking out at the view
Of all you used to believe,
From where you are you can see you're far away from home.
Echoes of the life you once knew
Call out to you from across the divide,
And you know it's time to step back over the line,
But you're . . .

Waiting for lightning,
A sign that it's time for a change;
And you're listening for thunder,
While He quietly whispers your name.

Night falls and the curtain goes down;
No one's around,
It's just you and the truth.
As you lie in wait
For a feeling to take you by storm,
Somewhere in the depths of your heart,
Where it's empty and dark, there's a flicker of light,
And the Spirit calls,
But do you notice at all;
Are you . . .

Waiting for lightning,
A sign that it's time for a change;
And you're listening for thunder,
While He quietly whispers your name.

But the sign and the word
Have already been given,
And now it's by faith
We must look and we must listen,
Instead of . . .

Waiting for lightning,
A sign that it's time for a change;
And you're listening for thunder,
While He quietly whispers your name.

Thank You Lord for saving my soul,
Thank You Lord for making me whole.
Thank You Lord for giving to me,
Thy greatest salvation, so rich and so free.

Thank You Lord for saving my soul,
Thank You Lord for making me whole.
Thank You Lord for giving to me,
Thy greatest salvation, so rich and so free.

May your weekend be blessed!

Hi Jeanne! What a beautiful song. :)

Nice to see you here, I loved the links you posted.

I pray each of you will be truly blessed by the awesome knowledge of what our Lord and Savior has done for us. Without Grace where would we be?
