Hey guys! Beautiful singing going on here tonight! I'll post an appropriate one in a little bit.

Just got back from an Alpha celebration/recruitment dinner! Great night, but a few burdens too! A 17 year old girl lost her dad a fews ago (he's the one who got Alpha going in our church), and she's really struggling in her relationship with the Lord because of it. Also a woman my age who's afraid her husband will drift away from the marriage if she gets too close to the Lord (which is really what she wants). My heart is so heavy for them. Any extra prayers will help I'm sure

Dan, thanks for your concern for Vicki as well. She is coming home today! I'm glad for her but I am just hoping it is not too soon...you know how it is with hospitals these days. Vicki is so young and it was such a shock to everyone when she had her heart attack. As these crisis times usually do, it caused many people to step back an look at life from a new perspective and that is is good thing!

I love this song because it helps remind us of the ONE who we need to trust to hold our lives in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES!

Jill, glad to hear that Vicki is improving. She has been in my thoughts and prayers often this week.

Has anyone read the book " If you want to walk on water, you have to get out of the boat"? DH is reading with his men's group and I started in yesterday. Just the words I need right now! You know, a few days back the study we started last summer on Phil. and didn't finish was talked about. I really wanted to finish it, but that type of study has me doomed before I begin! My learning style is the kind where I need things explained in black and white(like this book) not the kind where I am supposed to figure out the "hidden" meaning of the scripture passage. I'm a "say what you mean, mean what you say" knid of person. For me "reading between the lines" is nearly impossible as to me THERE IS NOTHING THERE!!!! So , these books that take a very familiar passage and point out what is meant by it and apply it to every day life are great for me. I read it and say "wow, why didn't I see that before" - well, because the "between the lines" meaning wasn't there before. I am soooo thankful God made people who can interpret His word for those of us who don't see any deeper than what is there to the meaning just below the surface. Anyway, it is a great book so far and I highly recommend it.

I am listening to Watermark as I type...does anyone know if they have a new album out?
