Then Cheyenne committed suicide, supposedly over her brother killing Drag.

After prison, Christian had been living like the unabomber in a shack somewhere in the NW, all doped up, when Robert Blake's dead star stalker wife tracked him down, slept with him and told him that Robert Blake's baby was actually his. Then she tried to extort money from Papa Brando for care and feeding of the baby, who she named Christian Brando. So when the star stalker was killed, there were rumors that Brando (or his father) had her killed over the baby thing.

Oh, what a tangled web.

My daughter's boyfriend is 17 and after running a fever for 5 or 6 days straight and obviously not getting any better, I called his mother and told her he needed to be seen by a doctor. She took him to the emergency room the next day. I couldn't believe she didn't even know he had the fever for such a long time (though it was only a low grade one, like 101.5 or so).

Of course, I had to call her and inform her that he son was sick initially too because he insisted that she would make him go to school.

Gotta be very careful with that Pnemonia. A few years ago, My coworker started to get a cold on Friday.....she came in to work on Monday then left early sick. Wedensday she passed away from Pnemonia!

It's really scary and one might not know when to seek help. In Nicole Dehuff's case, she went to the hospital 2 times and was misdiagnosed. It was too late till she made her 3rd trip. This was an otherwise healthy 30 year old too.

If I'm not mistaken, Jim Henson also died of pneumonia. That was very sad.

Kind of off topic, but maybe on topic with the direction this thread has taken....lol....

My DD (9) was sick for 2-3 weeks. She visited her pediatrician several times, she was then FINALLY diagnosed with pnemonia....thankfully she is over it or I would be PANICKING right now!

Hopefully there will not be a next time, but if she does get sick like that I will be in that office every day until she has an actual diagnosis!

Yes, he did. He died from the same type of pneumonia my husband was dx with - streptoccocal. My husband was very, very sick and so close to........ It upsets me to even think about.

in the course of one year i lost 2 friends to this strain of strep. one was in her 20's, the other in her 40's. with both they 'thought' they might have strep throat but put off seeing the doctor to get a strep test until it was too late (and they were gone within a week of feeling 'lousy'). this is why whenever someone posts that they 'think' they might have strep and wonders if they should 'bother' getting a strep test i'm rabid about insisting YES.

One can be properly diagnosed and treatment started in a timely way, and still die of pneumonia.
